Absolutely lovely property

Absolutely stunning property. The staff was so attentive, the food was delicious, and hotel amenities were spot on for a week at Kiawah River.

Was an amazing stay and an amazing property.

Lovely hotel in a great area with excellent staff.

The hotel is charming, but for the price it lacked some basic necessities and special touches. Large bathroom with one tiny bath matt. I had to use a towel which then showed how dirty floor was. Had to call for extra towels, clean robe, hangers and a tv remote. It always took quite a bit of time. Robes are very heavy cotton that tend to hold the water. Not enough hooks in bathroom - just one and night service would hang the robes on top of one another - they would never dry. Very few hangers and no real dresser, so hangers are a must. Called for hangers after check in with no answer. My husband had to walk down and the valet staff found some. Hard to track down beach towels outside. The staff seemed very light for weekend. Bed was extremely soft. The decor is lovely and the valet staff amazing. It was an anniversary for us and not even happy anniversary. Outside of valet, service was average.

Our king riverfront room was so lovely with the canopy bed and generous views. I do have to mention the quality of food. Presentations were lovely and nice portions, but everything we ordered was overpowering salty. We did mention this to the manager who accepted the critique graciously. Perhaps consider a complementary continental breakfast. Two coffees and one breakfast bread was $20.00. A little steep perhaps? There was no real gift shop. Just the spa which looked inviting. Maybe next time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return.

The property and resort was stunningly beautiful. Meticulous grounds, 5-star amenities and the most welcoming and lovely staff.

Absolutely gorgeous, incredible service, and great restaurants. Will absolutely return

The Dunlin is stunning. Simply breathtaking views and picture perfect buildings/environment. They have many activities including paddle boarding and kayaking, yoga, Pilates, etc. The pools are lovely. I was hoping for an ice cream cone to end my day, and none on property which seemed odd to me. Everything was in crisp white or green.

Such a beautiful property!

The Dunlin was an amazing stay (3 nights was perfect). Things that stood out were 1) how friendly and helpful the staff were 2) the decor and overall feel of the place 3) the pool and amenities 4) the spa - great services at reasonable prices 5) the restaurants - food was incredible and many ingredients were from nearby farms, they were very accommodating to our 16-month old too. Overall, it was a great place to spend a few days relaxing away from our busy lives with our little family.

The room was immaculate and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Never a wait for their attention or help. That goes for the restaurant staff as well. Everything about the Dunlin is exceptional.
