Wingate by Wyndham Jonesboro/Hodge

We've stayed here 3 times now and there is still a very strange smell in the bottom floor and lobby of the hotel. We usually have to wait for staff to check us in as they have disappeared somewhere and 2 out of the 3 times we've stayed here the rooms have been clean. I think the staff is just not used to having so many people there and we usually come for holidays so they are a little unprepared for how many people come. But it's a decent stay for the cost so beggars can't be choosers.

Everyone and everything was great.

Old building, paint peeling, toilet was loose and rocking, the shower looked disgusting, did not use it, afraid to use towels as well, look somewhere else, deceived by the name

Nothing. The candy rappers all over the floor, the ac not working. The kids allowed to kick soccer balls at our door all night. The knocking on the door and running all night. The 100 kids allowed to run and scream the halls all night. And Ole Danny there saying he had a job to do. We came for a family in the hospital and no sleep.

The hotel appeared to look clean, but not clean. Bathroom was nasty tub was nasty. Carpetwas nasty and they showed us five rooms. All those is dirty and they have them out to be rented for someone to Sleep Inn. The only reason we did not leave because we were tired from driving and I was emotionally drained from getting ready for a funeral.

Unfortunately, when I returned later, I was very disappointed to be greeted by a strong marijuana odor as soon as I stepped off the elevator. The smell was overwhelming and detracted from what had otherwise been a positive experience. While I am grateful for the compassion shown by the staff, management should address this issue to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests. Because of the mixed experience, I am giving this stay 2 stars.

The breakfast needs improvement. The rooms were very clean and spacious, but overall very quiet with clean rooms

Breakfast was average but better than just donuts & coffee. The mattress pad was hanging from under sheets & was very worn & tattered. Took away from the overall look of the room.

The check in staff was nice .

Property is clean and quiet. It is very conveniently located. Right next to Sheriffs office and a Walmart. Several different places to grab something to eat within a couple miles. The room was hot when we arrived,but the A/C cooled it down in just a little bit,very comfortable after that. I would stay here again !!!

Overall it was conducive for our stay. The entrance and front desk smell would have turned us around as it was very musty but the hallways and rooms are not.

Room was expected like on the pictures but bigger price is affordable

Felt Old. Place reeked of Marijuana… Cleaning staff was excellent and super friendly.

The staff member that checked us in was very friendly. The lobby a/c was not turned on it smelled like mothballs. The lobby floor was very dirty with trash all around. The elevator was extremely sketchy and shifted/landed very hard. The room was very dimly lit even with all of the lights on. Our room had dirty towels in the bathroom still, and smudges all of over the bathroom.

Overall very good

The staff was nice.

It was next to a Walmart. The A/C worked and the room itself was pretty clean. There was a lot of trash underneath the beds in my suite.
