The Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu, Turtle Bay

Amazing and beautiful stay at this Ritz! Bathrooms were a bit outdated but this didn’t steer away from the amazing service, cleanliness, and relaxing atmosphere!

What a beautiful hotel! Right on the water with a full 360 view of the ocean no matter where you are. Definitely on the pricy side, but we wanted to splurge a little since we were on our honeymoon. The area is pretty remote, so Ubers were hard to come by- strongly recommend pre-ordering one if you plan on leaving the grounds and want to make sure you have a ride back. We participated in the free yoga classes they offered as well as heard some great live music at night. The cafe had great coffee and breakfast options (Recommend the croissant or the burrito) and the desserts at the "beach house" were amazing! We plan on coming back for a few nights before exploring other islands since the area is just stunning and feels so relaxing.

Clean room and the beach view from the room was more than I expected. Cleaning staff Olive kept our room clean for our whole stay. She is great! We are grateful and pleased. Will be back!

Stunning location and hotel overall. Food was great Unclear description about what was included in the surf lesson, misleading “intro to surfing” title and body copy.

Price too high. The rate should have been cheaper for what it offered.

My husband and I stayed in the bungalows which we loved the only thing if I had to complain was no ice machine for the bungalows I did not like that. I had to call bellhops and have to order ice and then tip them every time the price we pay for the hotel there should be convenient located ice

This hotel lives up to what you would expect from a Ritz. It was a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Superb

This was one of the most magical places we’ve ever stayed. Already planning our visit back! Amazing views, breathtaking sunsets, clean, friendly staff, and the BEST massage I’ve ever had!

We traveled as a family of four and stayed in the OceanClub Bungalow for five nights. The club lounge was great for breakfast and afternoon snacks and the kids enjoyed the free softdrinks and fruits. The bungalow was nice although a bit small for four and it has limited space to hang/stow away all the clothes. Very helpful and friendly staff! Do not miss to book a surfing lesson in the resorts surf school. Nice Beach Bar with good casual food options, but we would have hoped for some additional dining options. Would come again, all in all a great resort to stay!

Location Beach very rocky, not good for swimming. Rooms too small, poor quality, no good tea or fresh milk

Exceptional

The resort is beautiful, but the service did not feel like Ritz-Carlton service. Several staff members seemed annoyed when we asked for simple things like water or extra towels, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. There was also weddings and events directly below our ocean-facing balcony, and the noise was extremely loud for three consecutive nights in a row. It was difficult to relax or enjoy the room during that time, and I felt like the property was being double sold. Imagine booking a Ritz-Carlton and wanting to enjoy a peaceful evening, and instead be bombarded by party music until 10PM for 3 nights in a row. Unbelievable. The staff did help with a birthday surprise I planned, which I appreciated, but they did not offer any ideas or suggestions. I expected more help and attention from a luxury hotel to create a personalized experience for a special occasion. There were very few complimentary activities, targeted primarily for young children. Anything else was overpriced. Overall, the stay did not feel special or worth the price. The location is beautiful, but the service and guest experience fell short of what we expected from a five-star resort.

Superb all around

We came here to Hawaii to elope and celebrate the most important day of our lives, and we left with so much more than incredible memories—we left feeling like we had gained a new family. From the moment we arrived, every single person made us feel genuinely welcomed. Joy, Jill, Dee Ana, and every member of the Club Level team went above and beyond in ways we never expected. They didn’t just remember our names—they remembered our story. Every “good morning,” every conversation, every thoughtful gesture made us feel so special during one of the biggest moments of our lives. Planning a destination elopement can be stressful, but this amazing team made everything feel effortless. They celebrated with us, cheered us on, and made our wedding week even more magical than we could have imagined. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, but it’s the people who truly make this place unforgettable. Their kindness, warmth, and genuine care are something you simply can’t put a price on. Thank you, Joy, Jill, Dee Ana, and the entire Club Level staff, for making our wedding week the most incredible experience of our lives. You helped create memories we’ll cherish forever, and we are beyond grateful. We’ll absolutely be back—again and again. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️

Great place on north shore. A little far if you are looking for activities. Great if you are looking for peaceful beautiful place to stay.
