Nice location, convenient to dining and activities. Hiking onsite in the park a plus.

Overall fantastic lovely property, food was on point, 90% of the staff amazing. I had one bad experience with a staff member in the bar who in my opinion decided I didn’t matter because I had my suitcase in hand. Her attitude was he is checking out so he doesn’t matter and she made it very apparent. That took me from can’t wait to book it again to will see.

The Lodge is beautiful. The rooms were tidy and tasteful. The check-in was not so good. Check-in started at 4pm and we were not given a room until 5:30. Check-out was all wrong. They entered our room and began cleaning it 3 hours before we went to the front desk to formally check out. Internet and cell service on the property was spotty.

I loved the complimentary valet. Everyone was so helpful and gave incredible service!

Attention to those from Seattle. In Seattle, they don’t have “heat.” They have “aggressive mist.” The idea of a heat wave is when you can wear shorts and a fleece at the same time without looking foolish. So when I stepped outside this hotel and was immediately hit by a wall of air that felt like the inside of a pizza oven, my soul began to liquefy. I checked the weather app. It said 84 degrees. I checked again. Suddenly 94. I checked a third time, hoping the app would take pity on me and lie. It did not. Now, I’m not saying this hotel is responsible for the weather. But I am saying that for the price I paid per night, I expect a little more cosmic influence. Maybe a personal cloud that follows me around. Maybe a button in the room that says “Dial Down the Surface of the Sun.” I don’t think that’s unreasonable. Otherwise, great hotel. Nuff said.

It is a unique, historical, and beautiful hotel. It has a lot of character, located in a park, it’s got lots of nice surroundings and trails. Clean and good rooms. Well maintained. Great for a relaxing or romantic stay. Also good for conferences. We enjoyed it a lot.

What an amazing property! Give yourself time to enjoy the hike to Lake Washington and take in the on-site art gallery.

The hotel is fantastic. My room was large and the view was stunning. The restaurant is delicious and the bar area is always staffed by pleasant employees.

They even brought in microwave and fridge for my daughter's diet.

    Not a single thing!

From the moment I arrived, I knew this would be a unique (in the best way) experience. There is no grand entrance or elaborate lobby, but the building itself is impressive and fits naturally into its park setting. The location does mean there are no restaurants or conveniences within walking distance. They make up for that lack with ample trails to get your heartbeat up. I can understand the absence of a pool, but given the colder Washington temperatures, a hot tub would have been a welcome addition. The rooms are relatively small (and expensive), but once inside, you are transported to a simpler, quieter time; one where the finer things are birdsong, stillness, and true quietude. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would gladly return myself.

Beautiful property, very nice and helpful staff. Everything was well maintained. Very short stay so didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but seemed wonderful.

The setting in the middle of a park makes it so easy to walk out the door for a hike. The restaurant is great and their coffee menu in the morning is a suprising.

Had an amazing time there. It’s picture perfect if you ask me. Angel was awesome very much made us feel welcome in the restaurant. Front desk lady Kim made us feel like family. Beautiful rooms as and art work as well. Spa treatment was top of the line. The property has lots of place to walk with an awesome playground. Would definitely come here yearly.

This is a great place to stay, but they place unnecessary and inflated holds on your credit card. This is unwarranted, and completely wiped out the good vibe of staying there.
