All ready wrote one terrible property never would stay there again

It's a terrible hotel with ridiculous rules . My husband wanted to check in room at 3:30 pm , no one in hotel and they said he could check in early for a $25.00 fee , 30 minutes early . They had no housekeeping unless you remembered to call them before 11 to have them come , they said they have been this way since Covid , really . There were bugs . The housekeeper came into my daughter's room and only made up one of the 2 beds didn't pick anything up . It was just the worst I have stayed in a long time

To add insult to an already bad visit, we were given rubber bracelets to use when we used he pool. We were told locals were used not the pool and the bracelets were meant to eliminate the problem. The pool was pretty crowded, but less than 10% of the swimmers had a bracelet. Obviously, no one was auditing to ensure compliance. I am offended that the marketing on Hotels.com was so far from reality and that we paid for far more than we recieved. My advice, don’t stay here until they completely remodel or bulldoze and rebuild.

Beautiful property with tree shaded courtyard. I wish we would have had time to enjoy it. This is not like chain hotels that are usually available. Only two drawbacks. It is a two story facility and there is no elevator. Also the restaurant has limited hours. Even so the room was spacious and very nice. I would stay there again if I could get a room on the ground floor.

It was great , it needs a fan in the loft area. Other than that we loved it.

The 1st room smell old & musty the shower curtain had mold on it. The water stunk horrible. There was hardly any plug-ins. We asked to be moved to a different room the next day, which was better. It still wasn’t clean properly. The lid up the ice bucket was missing but did have more plug-ins in it. We enjoyed the pool.

We stayed 2 nights but they do not clean every morning which I thought was weird. Also you have to pay for breakfast…

Nothing Horrible service

Our room was so outdated. Horrible musty smell. Window ac kept rattling and was very noisy. Sounded like an industrial chiller system. Old lumpy mattress and lifeless pillows. Much renovation needed. Smell of room was a major turnoff.
-
The room only had a “cooler unit” not an air conditioner unit. And it was hot & muddy all night.
-
There was only one chair in the room. We are older and became tired and did not have a comfortable chair for each of us. House keeping was excellent.

All was great. the only problem was our paper said room 178 but our key said 278 and neither room worked and at 10:30pm we were exhausted but the maintenance man was an angel and helped us get into the room. Beside this al was great. We got a great nights rest and the facility was very clean The only problem was the key issue but maintenance took care of it right away.

We recently visited the Lodge for a large family reunion. The location is convenient. The staff is GREAT!! Unfortunately the accommodations peaked several decades back and without remodeling it just is what it is. The price for the accommodations is high. It's not the staffs fault. I just wouldn't stay there again. It was like a step above camping and very much like a road side motel. I'd rather glamp. We are used to modern accommodations and this place is lacking in its entirety. Can't say enough about the staff. I'm speaking to the owners of this facility. It's time to do some major updates.
