Excellent food, facilities staff at the Sanctuary and on a beautiful beach! Worth every dollar.

The only (minor) downside. One receptionist was a little frosty when we were checking in (she gave us the 'one over') and (even more minor) the pool closed early (for me) so nobody could go for a late night dip without being asked to leave. Overall, of course: a very pleasant stay. Christophe

The staff was warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and everything was beautifully maintained. We also really enjoyed the food and all that the resort has to offer. We absolutely loved our time at The Sanctuary and can’t wait to return. It is truly one of our favorite places to stay.

We were told there were not refrigerators in the rooms but there were. We drove so could have brought food items. Beach was private and great. Staff very nice. Definitely would not go back.

We love The Sanctuary!!! It is one of our favorite vacation spots. The property is perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation!
-
Hotel peaked years ago. Staff is very arrogant - had reserved a king bed months and months ago and they didnt have any . Constant weddings and such loud music from the weddings late into the night. Food overpriced. Not worth the high price tag . Do airbnb or Verbo. This is a pass

Wonderful family vacation spot

This resort is exquisite. It is located directly on the beach but also seems like it is in a jungle or Forest. The property is extremely well maintained and the staff was exceptional. We were given a room that we weren't exactly pleased with and they were able to accommodate our needs and provide us with a different room. We loved being able to walk around the property with our small child. I would come back anytime.
