Newly renovated. Clean rooms. Great ski lodge.

we loved the Grey Bonnet Inn! the room was a great with comfy beds and even a little balcony overlooking the bakyard/trees. the breakfast was amazing and we loved stephanie the startender who made us some delicious cocktails after a day of skiing. the hotel evven provided water bottles for drinking water which was much appreciated. the only issue for our room was the bathroom door didn't close all the way and the water was a little stained.

So close to all the Killington lodges, easy to get anywhere in just a few minutes. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Such a laid-back vibe and a terrific breakfast. Would love to stay there again!

Terrible selection breakfast

Great breakfast and happy staff, always willing to help. Great conversation! This place is a throwback--plenty to do there (even a game room). Very clean. Didn't find out the pool was closed until we arrived. That was disappointing.

Hot tub and sauna were both closed indefinitely (we weren’t informed of this until after we had booked). Hotel was drastically overpriced for what you get. Earplugs in the lobby is never a good sign. We could hear every footstep and noise in the inn, including people snoring multiple rooms away from us. Super thin walls, not a lot of space in the rooms, and no mini fridges either. Breakfast was solid, but taken away promptly at 9:00am, which is a bit early. There was rarely any staff members visible at the front desk and we never saw the pub open even though it had a sign saying it was open late. I would not recommend this Inn as it was nowhere near worth the $625 we paid for a two night stay. I’ve stayed at nicer, quieter hostels for much less.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is currently in a transition period under going renovations and new management.

Clean room, friendly staff. Common area is a great place to hang out.

Now for the downsides. I had a room on the lower level, essentially basement hotel room down some stairs, with very loud stomping, creaks, and noise from all the other guests staying in the rooms both above and around me. The hotel actually has a bowl of free earplugs in the lobby because its such an issue. Falling asleep was tough every night because of stomping and noises from guests. My room also was very bare basic. It didn't have any table or chairs for me to even do any work on my laptop. It was literally just beds, a TV stand, and a night stand with a lamp. I've never actually experienced so little with a hotel room before. In addition, there is no WiFi connection and almost no cellular connection at all whenever it snows. For 3/4's of my stay I had no internet or cellphone connection for calls, texts, and data. There wasn't anyone working at the front desk 90% of the time. The small time periods that there was, it was just someone always in the back office but never up front. Neither of the clerks I dealt with were very helpful or seemed very caring when I asked about the lack of Wifi each day. I assume their main clientele are just skiers needing a quick place to lodge overnight. It works for that I guess. But truthfully, I really just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Location to Killington was convenient. WiFi did not work properly. Pool was not open.

Breakfast and location were good No noise insulation within first floor rooms. Neighboring room had people talking at 2:00 am as if they were in our room. Did not get any sleep that night.
-
Proximity to the mountain, quietness Too small a room but above all the room amenities should have been better. During winter there could have been some body lotions.there were lot of sand when I entered the room which shows the room was not cleaned properly. Internet was really bad and the mobile connection was dead. Could have used some internet booster or phone provider boost up for emergency help.

Stayed there for a ski trip with my son. The inn was great - clean room, nice breakfast, great location. Staying at a place that offers breakfast during a ski trip was great. My son raved about how comfy the mattresses were. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They are gradually opening the restaurant/bar for dinner and drinks (we had dinner one night - so far it is just for weekends and the place just got the liquor license). That is an added perk. There is also a game room in the basement and we spent about an hour there having fun with old arcade, pinball machine, and a couple of other games.

Very pleasant decor, welcoming and cozy. Good location close to Killington mountain and village. Comfortable room Nothing to dislike

The common areas, game room, and dining areas. Breakfast was great and rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were ok but room for improvements. Sink was hard to use and bath valve for shower and tub wasn’t working.

We had a fantastic stay at the Grey Bonnet Inn. The Inn brought back all the nostalgia from staying at inns from our childhood. The inn was very clean. We loved the sitting areas, the breakfast was great. Everyone loved the gaming room - adults & kids! All of the staff were so kind and went above and beyond their job to help us. The pool is out of order. That is only because they need to do construction. They were clear that this was the case in advance. Our kids will be excited if it is open the next time we stay.
