Mariners Suites

The room was super dusty. My allergies sparked up as soon as I entered the room. The toilet was not cleaned. Mold and mildew was in the kitchen and bathroom. All vents and even the kitchen cabinets had thick dust.The covers had spots etc. The staff asked if she can have housekeeping clean it over I said ok because last minute my options were few. I don't live in Kingsland. Nothing changed at all. I just went up the road to Walmart and got cleaning supplies and covers and towels to make it through the weekend.

Checking in was easy. The staff on duty were very friendly and professional. Very quiet property with zero issues. We would very much recommend.

The staff were very polite and accommodating! It was so peaceful and quiet at night they didn’t have an issue with us swimming at night which was very nice! The pool was well kept and the patio/grill area was great. The rec room was also nice. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing evening! Ac was working very well also!

TV was only 30 inch. Their website said 40-50 inches. The internet was supposed to be 100mbps, only around 5. It was so slow it took forever for the TV to come on. The building needed washing. The shrubs needed trimming. There was a vine growing under the door step. The ice maker was turned off, so we had no ice for 2 days. The beds were just so-so. It was a large room and the water was hot, that was a plus. The furniture was worn and most people would have replaced it if it was in their house.

Everything was great staff and grounds were very friendly. If I had one complaint it that I forgot my shampoo & conditioner and they don’t provide that but it’s not a deal breaker Walmart is right down the road. Wonderful place to stay we will be back again.

Clean room, nice people, quiet area.

Very nice room. Comfortable bed. Great area. Bathroom shower fixture needs to be replaced but it did work.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. It feels like home. Spacious and clean. Kitchen has most supplies. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Nice ground to walk our dog. Things show wears and tears. Cleaning can be improved but I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom myself. Because there is no dishwasher. I washed everything before I use them. There is stain on mugs etc. but overall very pleasant stay.

There were no rails to assist getting in and out of the shower. It would have been nice to have a scrubby in the kitchen to clean pans better

The location was very convient to all we needed to do The beds were very uncomfortable. The iron had stuff burn into it and they had no replacement I had to buy one so I could press our clothes without ruining them.

Plenty of parking. Staff was very helpful. A.C. worked great

No ice maker or ice trays available in the freezer, and no ice machine on property.The Directv cable did not work in our room. Called office and was told no one available to fix it, so we were unable to watch tv during our weekend stay. Would've liked to have enjoyed the swimming pool, but the water was green/brown. Very disappointed in our stay here.

I retired from over 25 years in the hospitality industry. The property is obviously older. However, for a non- branded property, it was refurbished inside and out very well. It was comfortable, all ground floor suites and very quiet. It made for a great weekend. I will be back and recommend it to anyone looking for this type of stay.

Clean

Room was clean and comfortable enjoyed the sitting area,location was close to restaurants and shopping was very quiet and peaceful would diffently stay again

Nice location, quiet. Large rooms with full kitchen.

The room smelled like smoke. I was warned of a $250 fee for smoking in the room. My guess is they don’t use this money to actually clean the smoke smell from the room. Unfortunately office hours were over by the time I went in my room and noticed the smell. Also there was heavy mold growth where the tub meets the floor. Why was this not cleaned up when they cleaned the room after the last guest?

would not work and everyday go to the office to get new ones.

Location.... Lobby smelled like natural gas.....grass wasn't well-maintained outside....
