The Margate Resort on Lake Winnipesaukee

Location was close to BNH Pavillion. There was a nice beach with lots of beach chairs. The beach bar had very good food and drinks. The room was spacious and clean. There was a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The only thing I didn’t like about it was there was no plug in the bathroom at the mirror which made it hard to do hair.

Being right by the lake was beautiful. We had the best time the room was clean and the staff very professional and friendly

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The gazebo beach bar was excellent. Try the margate mule! The breakfast could have been better for the price. Our room needed to be updated.

Close to many places we needed to be near. It was our second time choosing here.

It was a very brief stay, but I would definitely stay here again!

Close to venue neede Not much for the price.

I liked the tiki bar on the lake. Beautiful sunset. I was given a room that was not on the resort. I was in a building across a busy road. And a few minutes walk from any of the amenities.

Clean plenty of parking, right on the bay. Two pools and a restaurant right beside the water, and the staff was very friendly and helpful ! Nothing

Beautiful facility at a breathtaking location. The only thing I didn’t like was that I was only there for one night.

Location is beautiful! Staff were very helpful. Had a last minute booking because we were in town for a concert but had made reservations at the best western in Laconia and it was filthy. They were very accommodating. No complaints but housekeeping was knocking on our door a few minutes before checkout.

Would rather have had Queen beds but the ones we had were ok. Due to the weather being cooler than usual a blanket on the bed would’ve been nice. The staff was so very friendly and helpful!! Bigger beds and tv

Clean Tv didn’t work

location, a room on the 1st floor, friendly/helpful staff toilet flushing was erratic—often would not function unless the cover was removed and the mechanism manually energized. We had not been told that there were blankets in the room dresser and we were cold at night.

Pricey considering this is the off-season. Bed was firm and less than modern.

We had a 1 and a half hour drive for a 4pm check in. On the mobile app I noticed a spot for a 1pm-2pm check in when available so I checked it off. We arrived early and was met by a very pleasant woman at the front desk. She immediately made me feel valued. I told her the situation and she said we were In luck and made our electronic key card for the room. Upon entering we noticed a breath taking view of lake view which got everyone excited and set the pace for an Incredible stay of our overnight vacation. The view of the lake was a little extra but worth every penny. We will be returning guest and look forward to our next visit. The only thing I didnt like was we couldn't stay longer. Absolutely Incredible visit/stay!

Pool area Nothing was available. Arcade closed and resturant. Bar not even open.

I stayed there as a vendor for a wedding. They staff was phenomenal. They were able to move my room closer to the ceremony location. The day of coordinator was so beyond helpful. I appreciate all the small things. They were helping me light candles and offering to help move items with me. As a wedding vendor this was your dream staff. They also had a txt number you could txt if you needed something as a guest. We ordered take out one night and needed some forks, we sent a txt and not even 5 mins later a gentleman showed up at the door with forks! Thank you guys!
