Red Roof Inn Lafayette - Purdue University

We came back to stay another night and was told that we can’t because our with very dirty. That was after I paid for the night. Which was not our fault that they were dirty. They never came to get the dirty towels once. Or clean our rooms once the whole time we were there. So I don’t see how the room be dirty was our fault. We had to take out our own trash. The floors being dirty was only because no one came to clean the rooms. We would leave almost every day for hours so they could clean. And it never happened. And we are not allowed to stay there anymore. Which to me is messed up to me. Which it really sucks that we can stay there anymore because that was the hotel that we would go to for a few days almost every month.

We really liked being able to bring both our cat and dog with us. The staff were very nice - we liked the decor and location.

If you can afford to stay somewhere else do it. If not if your like me you'll be able to tolerate it. Bring your own blankets. The ones their feel sort of oily like they aren't very well maintained.

The manager was very nice and helpful but it was BAD, mold in the bathroom, my 6 year old (50lbs) sat on the handicap shower chair to take her shoes off and it twisted under her and she almost fell, there was an eyelash on the chair, black mold in the bathroom

Staff went in our room and stole our luggage. Management denied! Their cameras are no good. Is an unsafe hotel to leave valuable items without attention!!!

It was quiet and in a good location. Didn't like the light over the sink that came on automatically. The light would shine right in the person's face that slept closest to the wall. The curtains had lots of little holes in them.

The staff members were nice. There was not a lot of noise, so I was able to sleep at night. The initial conditions of the room were not clean. Once notified, new bedding was provided.

Room was neat and clean. Beds made up very well. Good places to eat within walking distance of the room.

Nothing at all very dirty!! It was very dirty our first room had blood on the back of the door. My third room smelled like pot! My second room had water under the floor my people about got hurt. This motel was disgusting. I my self went through 5 rooms before I found one clean enough to sleep in.. I want a refund!!

I wasn’t able to stay at the property for personal reasons. I called directly to make the cancellation and the person who answered the phone at the hotel told me that it was up to Expedia to refund my payment (I had prepaid the full 3 nights) I called expedia.com and they tried contacting the hotel and explaining I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel and that I needed my refund at least for the following 2 nights (just keep one night’s deposit as penalty not the full 3 nights) it was impossible. The experience was TERRIBLE. Don’t reserve this hotel through Expedia.com. It was outrageous to charge for the whole stay when I was formally calling to cancel the reservation. I tried ‘managing’ my account through Expedia.com and the page kept being redirected to nowhere! This is a TERRIBLE way to make your reservations if you have any issues with your stay, or even worse, if you have to cancel like I did. They keep all your money even if you call and explain ahead of time that you won’t be able to stay at the hotel. Truly terrible and unprofessional both at The Red Roof Inn Lafayette Indiana and at Expedia.com. Lastly, this property is the worse option in the whole area. It’s depressing and dirty. Shows no maintenance whatsoever.
