Interlaken Inn & Resort

The location was perfect. The price was fair. The room was generally clean. The low 100 series rooms in the main building were musty. Our patio only had one chair and the A/C unit was rusty, so sitting out on the small patio was undesirable. The handicap bathroom had a retractable bar in it, but wasn’t retractable to move it out of the way for normal use, and it obstructed the whole right side. They need to be retractable and able to be out of the way. Also, booking offered an incentive for Breakfast Included, but when we got there the hotel manager said that wasn’t the case. The breakfast was $75 for four people for a small buffet. We didn’t eat there a second time because it wasn’t a good value. For what the offered, $10 would have been fair.

Service was great rooms clean the restaurant and bar had great service.food could use some work

The grounds and facilities were excellent. They have lake access with swimming and a raft and also have kayaks and canoes that you can use and chairs if you just want to chill by the lake. They also have a great outdoor pool and chairs with wonderful landscaping. If that’s not enough they also have a tennis court and two pickle ball courts My room smelled like cigarettes, the bed was hard and uncomfortable and the balcony door lock was broken.

This is a large inn in a remote rural area. I spent three nights in the inn. My biggest complaint is the food service. There’s a restaurant affiliated to the Inn. The food options are very limited. I ordered six chicken wings and found out inside the wing is cold and the wind is not even fully cooked. It took them some time for the replacement. This time they did it right.

There was a profound and pungent smell in the hotel. My kids needed to cover their noses.

The staff was super friendly and cute intimate umm. The only downside was how thin the walls are and as a light sleeper, very difficult with the noise. Other than that, everything was good.

I didn’t like the smell on the inside, it was pungent. Outside of that the place was quaint, easy, comfortable and convenient. Breakfast options were limited, not a great deal of healthier choices on the menu.

This was false energized advertising. There was no breakfast. There were no meals. We requested a room in the back away from the road We were in two different heavily Rd. trafficked. noisy rooms.

My shower did not drain well and there was a smell on the first floor that was a little unpleasant

The restaurant was closed. We were given a restaurant recommendation that in our taste was alright. It was extremely noisy. It was almost like we hear a door slamming shut every few minutes. By 9 am we hear the cleaning service cleaning the room above us. The gym was inadequate. I wanted to use the treadmill to get a little walk in but it was a cheap wobbly. No water was provided in the room. Coffee in the room was instant with powdered creamer. The floor was dirty I kept stepping on pieces of salt. The soap bar was mush after one use. We travel all over I think it was very over priced for what it was. We maybe be in the area for the next three years at least twice a month and I will not be staying again. On another note they provide cable not smart tv service luckily we watched the Olympics but at times it was fuzzy. The door only locked there was no latch above. Overall just not what I expected for the price ect.

The restaurant, food and wait staff were fab!!!
