The staff who has been there over 30 years is still there and we appreciate that. That gift store was out of candy and other things due to fact it is up for sale. Hopefully the right buyer will purchase property and make it back into the way it was many years ago.

It's aging but still worth the stay. Having a hot tub is nice although they're not up to date. Dunk pools are always clean and great to have after hot tubbing. The bathrooms are always clean. Satellite TV gets channels nobody around here gets. The place is remote. Bring what you need.

Dinner was great, breakfast was the same every day, outdoor pools were too cold, everyone complained, pontoon ride was very nice! Entertainment was sub-par, nothing like advertisement showed, the toilets were extremely low to the floor! The rooms look exactly like the picture! The buildings are old, but everything felt clean, if you’re going to have round beds, you should special order round bottom sheets, we woke up on the mattress with no cover,

Had to go to front desk to have someone clean the room after nobody came to clean it daily..

The resort was nice but the activities were all inside and it wasn’t even raining the outside bar never opened even though it said it would The schedule wasn’t what it said our room smelled like smoke the staff said they would be giving me a credit as it was so bad we had to move that was still not seen

Love the rooms, the staff and the deer. Made our 15th anniversary great. Gonna try to go back every year. Nothing.

Exceptional

This property will always hold my heart. The amount of space and freedom to explore the grounds with comfort is like no other. CHRIS and Dennis are the best servers and Butch gave an amazing boat tour! The place has opportunity for sure, however its still worth everything included. I Hope if they are sold, the concept will remain the same. Theres nothing LIKE it.

Property needs serious upgrading

Staff was incredible can’t say that enough . The lake is beautiful! The place is unsanitary! Pools are dirty rusted , lounge chairs had mold . Our hot tub in the room had hair and a toe nail in it . Nothing and I mean nothing has been updated or probably maintained since the seventies ! There was water in the downstairs floor to the fitness center and activities, very unhappy

Food, Breakfast and Dinner were good. Dining staff were excellent. Indoor Hot tub and Indoor pool tile needs repair; that's an injury waiting to happen. In Spooner, some of the game machines and exercise room equipment need repair or new ones.
