A little disappointed in the property. Its dated. Room was clean, had to request a new room as the first was musty smelling. The second room offered was an improvement. Room air condition was fully functional and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was okay but dated. Food was average. Overall, the beauty of the Pocono mountains as well as the lakes made the stay worthwhile.

The property was clean for the most part but really needs some major updates. Property looks like it hasn't been updated in at least 20 years or more.

Everything was perfect for me and my fiance

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. You can tell the place needs some upgrades but it was still a fabulous stay.

The pool in the room was nice. We enjoyed the deer all over the property and feeding them. There are many activities to do for couples to keep you busy. The staff is excellent and the food is very good. It is a fun place for couples to enjoy each other for a few days. The property is outdated but you can still have a good time with all that they offer.

Nice quiet and relaxing, we stayed in the champagne sweet which could use some updating, also found hair floating in the personal pool and hair all over in the shower and tub. Most of the star lighting also did not work. Other then that was an enjoyable stay, beds and rest of the room seemed nice and clean.

The positives: breakfast buffet had everything one could think of for breakfast and was tasty and the service was great. The ceiling above the round bed had twinkling lights which was cool to look at in the dark. It was fun to see the deer and other wildlife. The negatives: room had a musty smell. The room had stairs down to the sleeping area. The red heart-shaped tub was cute but there was some water in it, leaving us to wonder if it was from cleaning it or something else. One of the TV remotes did not work. While the "resort" is technically on the lake, there was no view of the lake from our room or the area we were in. The check-in process and check-out were both underwhelming. Funny story about breakfast-when we checked in, the desk personnel was insistent that we make a reservation for the following morning's breakfast. We walked into a huge dining area...and were the only ones there. I guess that helps them plan their food preparation but it seemed restrictive for those on vacation. I think the word "resort" gave me high expectations but those were not met.

The drive to the location was pleasant and we went to Grey Towers Historic site and had so much fun. But there is nothing we like about the resort. The location is very secluded which is ok. However, there is nothing going on with the area.The resort is so old that it needs a lot of updates. It boasts to have a lot of activities for couples but no one attended. All the amenities were very dated. The Spooners restaurant was barely stocked and no one was eating there.

The room was in very poor condition. The carpet smelled strongly of mold, the bed felt old and worn out, and the entire room looked like it had not been updated in decades. The bathtub appeared stained and dirty, and the overall condition of the room gave the impression that little to no renovation has been done for many years. What was most frustrating was that the photos on the website do not accurately represent the current condition of the rooms. The images appear to be from when the resort first opened or from many years ago, which felt misleading. The resort has so much potential, and I truly believe it could attract many more guests if management invested in updating and renovating the accommodations. To make matters worse, I found ants and spiders throughout the room, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. I also noticed that many guest concerns seem to receive generic AI-generated responses rather than genuine efforts to address the issues being raised. I wanted to love this resort because of the family memories attached to it, but sadly, the reality did not match the expectations. I hope management takes reviews like this seriously.

Hot water wasn’t working on The 1st day but started working on the 2nd ..One Tv was blacking out on the first night? Both tvs was blacking out in the 2nd night. For the amount of money you pay to stay here things should be working to satisfy the customers. Also, the entire resort needs remodeling. My stay was from Fri 6/19-6/21/2026. We did enjoy the 8:00pm -10:00pm shows that occurred both nights. Breakfast is overrated & dinner was horrible, well mines was (salmon rice & apparagus) ..My man enjoyed his food…Overrall we will not be back

The land was nice and spacious The property was very outdated and needed major repairs on all of the buildings.

I recommend this place love everything food , staff , cleanliness, quiet , dont hesitate to book this place they also have activities.

We enjoyed the champagne glass hot tub and heated heart shaped pool located in our suite. The suite was very clean and romantic. The bathrooms are updated. The food quality for breakfast and dinner was excellent and the service was great. The grounds look a bit dated but the outdoor pool area is well maintained. Overall the trip was fantastic and I would highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

Second of all, if you order food to your room, it takes hours. I did it twice. They now charge you for breakfast and dinner. They never did that many years ago and I went. Everything is basically unmanaged so you can use it but if you have any questions or problems you’re beat

I love the room it was very comfortable. The tub inside also with the private pool was a win win definitely recommend. They could do some painting on the outside of the building tho to look presentable
