We had a bad check-in experience during our recent stay at Hampton Inn & Suites in Largo, Florida. Because of the entire Hampton computer system being down, we had to come back twice to check-in on 7/31/26. We were finally able to check-in manually around 8:30 p.m. and the system was not back up until about 2:30 am on 8/1. Because of the inconvenience of having to change evening plans we had made just to keep trying to check-in, we would like to get a refund for the first night of this trip.

Great location for access to our friends' 60th Anniversary gathering. The breakfast was one of the best we've experienced, based on menu offerings, space and cleanliness. In truth, I have no negative comments or complaints. Will stay there again, if in the area.

Everyone there was great except the girl we checked in with. The whole lobby smelled like marijuana which wouldn't have been a big deal if the kids didn't notice. Every time this particular staff member was on the desk it hit like a freight train. Also they close the pool early on two of the four nights we were there. The breakfast wasn't bad the only problem was some of the guests were literally taking multiple plates up to their rooms and clearing out the food. I don't blame the staff for that. But everything that I did get to taste was hot and fresh. The room was very clean and the staff that was in charge of tidying up the rooms were all very helpful and so kind. I would stay here again. It's in a good location as well.
