Got my tires slashed in the parking lot. Had to tow my car to a tire shop on a Sunday to get it fixed. Cost me $800.

I will never stay at Arizona Charlie's Decatur again. My experience started poorly when the room air conditioner emitted a heavy, dusty smell. I cleaned the lint filter myself, but it didn't help. Things got much worse when the electrical panel of the hallway air conditioner began to smoke. A terrible odor and thick smoke filled my entire floor, smoke alarm went off, resulting in an emergency evacuation. The smoke severely irritated my eyes and skin. I was evacuated 2 am in the morning and had to stay out of my room until the firemen came to check it out. Unfortunately, one of the guests was even hospitalized. I had to waste precious time and sleep hunting for another hotel for the rest of my trip. Management allowed me to check out early from my week-long booking. They also refunded the 'resort fee'—which makes no sense since this is far from a resort. I was close to having an anxiety attack. This was a terrifying safety hazard and a massive inconvenience. I absolutely cannot recommend this property.

The guy who checked me in was Martin. He was great. Room was clean but smaller than expected.

Couldn’t find the pool, if there was one. Resort fees were an unfortunate surprise. Room was nice and clean and the fridge and tv worked.

We enjoyed the bingo as well as the gifts, The room's were very nice and the mattresses were very comfortable in the room a variety of restaurants and nearby shopping, conveniently located Free parking we will certainly be returning 😊

Our first 3 days were in a room without a working toilet. Eventually, maintenance recommended a new room - we had to pack up everything and move - second room was fine except that the window had no latch so was open to the outside for the entire time we stayed in it. We didn't want to move again so we just lived with it. No compensation discount was offered to us for having to use public toilets for 3 days. Smell of cigarette smoke and weed was everywhere. I was under the impression that Hotels.com pricing was all inclusive of taxes and fees, it was not. We paid an additional $33 per day on top of the room cost so the hotels.com quote was deceiving to us. We could have stayed in a nicer place at the price we paid in the end. Free parking was nice - plenty available.

Bed was so hard that my back 4 days later still hurts from it. Got a handicapped room when you took a shower it flooded the bathroom floor. Not staying at again.

Pool was not clean well. No pool towels available even after I called to request some. Building could look cleaner and trash outside picked up. Other than that it was good. Rooms were clean and AC was good!

We booked this hotel out of convenience. I mean it was exactly what I expected it to be for a 2 star hotel. I did however appreciate seeing security presence and actually patrolling the parking lot which made me feel safe. I also appreciate the option to be on a smoke-free floor and the convenience of letting us check in early after a long drive.
