Avi Resort & Casino

New rules… Can not unhook trailer from vehicle, which makes it difficult to go through drive thrus or run quick errands. During week, food places inside Avi close at 10 and we couldn’t find anything to eat and couldn’t go through drive thru so that was inconvenient. Booked a cabana on Thursday for Saturday. Was a little confused about the online info, so went to the pool hut only to be told all reservations made in advance would be canceled and they would then be on a first come first serve since it was a holiday…. BUT they were sure to mention the manager had one booked for him and his family. So my husband got there at 5:30a to be early since it was the 4th of July. No one else showed up to get in line which he thought was odd. When supervisor came at 7a, she tells him that was the wrong information and all cabanas were already booked. Luckily I didn’t cancel my previous reservation so I still had it, but hubby was not happy he had woken up early to be there! I didn’t get the side I reserved, because that was saved…. Ok! I will say the only really great thing about it was the server Mekayla (not sure if working is correct) she was phenomenal!! All minor things but still wanted to mention so others know.

We ended up deciding to stop in Laughlin just to come to this hotel for the day to give the family time to unwind from Las Vegas heading back home. The Pool area made this hotel! Our kids loved having a while day of pool fun. We got a Cabana and had so much fun our cabana server Erin was very attentive and helped bring waters/ice when needed. We loved all the staff besides the younger girl who was working the front desk. She wasn't very friendly. I ended up having to run to my car really fast and had another lady help me and she was very friendly and helpful. We got a double room and it wasn't anything special, it's just like a motel 6 room but the pool day made up for the room. It's a great hotel for family's.

Room could have been cleaner. I think I wiped it down myself alot better. There was no hot water, water pressure was terrible , no great tv channels available. But glad we had a fridge! Wish there was a coffee maker or microwave available somewhere. Also convenient store should stay open all day! Pools were warm not fresh. But slides are fun. Bar is nice too. Beach area is 10/10 probably the best part of the hotel. Overall stay was 3.7

This is my first time staying at the Avi resort it was rated a 5 star resort when I was looking for a hotel!! In my eyes. It was not a 5 Star super outdated hotel! It very dirty restroom was dirty and the room was dusty. I went on a 3 day weekend which I understand if was vary packed, but the pool was very foggy did not even get to go in the pool cause I was disgusted how dirty it was. Also, another thing that I was not able to gamble because Tables to gamble closed at 2 o’clock am. never heard of something like this which was a super bummer because we had to drive about 20 minutes away to go gamble. I will not recommend if someone is looking for a 5 star hotel to stay here. It’s more like a 2 star..

Everything was amazing and great. I would give a 5 star but their AC kept waking us uo with the loud screeching noise it made when it turned off. It sounded like a screeching blade. They AC worked great other wise.

El hotel en general era bueno pero la habitación estaba horrible el servicio de limpieza realiza un pésimo trabajo, en cuanto entramos a la habitación la puerta de entrada estaba chorreada de algo pegajoso, el espejo totalmente empañado y dedos marcados, la alfombra de la habitación estaba terriblemente sucia, había mucho polvo y la cabeceras de las camas con manos marcadas en resumen el servicio de limpieza pésimo, al día siguiente pedí servicio de limpieza y la persona que limpió ni siquiera se fijó en esos detalles todo quedó igual

They have a great outdoor pool and beach area. The room was very sparse and aged.

Wendy checked is in, she was fantastic! We were able to get our friends room booked next to ours making our experience great to start, we went for July 4th , this place has the best fireworks in the nation making Disneyland fireworks look cheap. The pool area is great, all the staff was super helpful. We had breakfast at feathers, decently priced good eatin and kept us on property. We even took in a movie at 1030 pm , and hit up thriftys ice cream both days. We also purchased REAL professional fireworks and were able to shoot them off in the resorts designated football sized field area. This trip has become a family tradition for years to come. Great deal for a great resort.
