Homewood Columbia Laurel

Carpets and bathroom tiles need to be replaced. Hallway needed vacuuming. TV in 1st room did not swivel and could only be viewed from a rolling desk chair. Storm knocked out tv service for 30-60 minutes. Poor representation of Hilton property. Price was representative of quality. Didn’t stay for breakfast.

Clean, and good breakfast Everything was great

This hotel was home for a week while my.mom underwent surgery. The kitchen was very much appreciated as we prepped for her pre and post op needs. They even had a wheelchair available which came in handy after surgery. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! Only 8 mins from Merriweather and loved that restaurants were next door!

Had a double queen room booked. Couldn’t check in before we had to head to a music festival at merriweather, but was assured our room would be available after the show. Checked in at midnight and was assigned a king bed with a fold out couch. Not what was reserved but made it work.

Everything was great until I try to turn ac off because it was to high. Report it to the front desk several times and I was told that they call the maintenance department. In short I slept in a very cold room

Property was well maintained, rooms fresh, parking plentiful. But it was the staff that made the stay the most enjoyable. Friendly, polite, and helpful.

Loud shower

Almost all the units that I have stayed in with the bath tubs, which I hate, the drain plug was busted stopping the water from draining, so you have to completely remove the plug for water to drain. The lamps with the build in usb and power outlets, the connections are so loose they spark on occasion when plugging something in. It also appears that some units have people that are actually living in them, if you look from the out side in the back of the building, one of the windows in the back have stuffed animals in them, who does this for a quick stay? Creepy. The Digital key is a mixed bag, you still need to check-in to get a card to operate the lights and get in the back door.

Great location next to JHU

The A/C in my room unfortunately didn’t work. The hotel as a whole was old and could use some renovation. For example, there was mold/grime around the showers

The lobby is nice, the free breakfast is good, and the hotel is in a convenient location, but our room wasn't great. The ottoman was worn, the couch fabric was worn, the bathroom needed caulking and there was a dampness under the heater/ac.

First time staying at this location and I was very pleased with my stay. It was a great experience from start to finish. Rooms are clean, breakfast was wonderful with a variety of options to choose from. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. I wish I could have stayed longer.
