I loved the clean newly remodeled rooms that were very clean and welcoming! I loved the lodge with the bar and board games and the hot tub. The views outside were breathtaking!

Gorgeous lodge in the middle of spearfish canyon. Hiking trails are right outside the door. Originally thought of staying in the town of Spearfish but so glad we stayed here instead. The lodge is about a 15 minute drive into town.

Location was gorgeous! Trails right out the door. Having an included breakfast would have been nice.

Second floor room with no elevators or help with luggage was a bummer. Hot tub was actually very nice. Have to go across street for any food. Beautiful location and loved the UTV rental on property

We enjoyed using the outdoor personal hot tubs. We also liked that several hiking trails were available right from the lodge.

Otherwise, it's a beautiful location with great amenities. The Latchstring Restaurant, across the road, is fantastic.

The grand fireplace and full-scribe log design is very impressive. Room furniture also maintains the same log style flawlessly. Only thing missing was no iron in the room but it wasn’t a big deal.

I had to check out a day early. I was told by the front desk I would get reimbursed for that day. I did not .

The property provided all that was needed for a comfortable stay. Restraunt on the grounds was slow but food was good.

We would not of stayed at this property if we knew there was a wedding there. Very loud all night we did not get much sleep. Staff did not seem concerned that I mentioned my disappointment.
