La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Leesville Ft. Polk

The staff was very helpful. Hotel is dirty. Ac is not on in hallways or turned on in room before u arrive. Toilet needs repair. Room fridge doesn't work. Bathroom is dirty. Furniture is worn out and damaged. Lobby is nicest place in hotel. Very cool and comfortable. This review covers 3 different rooms and yes they were all the same. I stayed there last year for 10 nights and hoped by now it would have gotten better. It seems to have gotten worse.

Ac didn’t work in the room neither did most of the lights. Shower drained slow slow slow. Breakfast was meh. But I’ve stayed in worse hotels

The pool was very green and the pump was not working. The side door had no security-the knob was not there and had wires sticking out of it. There was no hot water in my room!!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, and while the breakfast selection was small, everything was fresh and enjoyable. There’s not much nearby in terms of restaurants or attractions, but the location felt safe and was a good spot for a relaxing stay.

Close to base Birds have built mud nests above where you enter, mud and bird poop all over the place. Does not appear place has maintenance.

Shower head cracked and needs replacing.

The woman at the desk was lovely and sweet, but the hotel is clearly in need of a lot of repairs and renovations. The elevator starts with the sound of squealing gears, our room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, the shower nozzle was loose and the hot water didn’t fully warm until the third of my children bathed. The pool was up to the edge, diluted with rain water and no apparent drainage or filtration, causing the water to have a green hue. The outside door had no lock mechanism and swings open with a nudge, no key needed. There was an old, used bar of soap next to our sink, and a fair amount of trash in our room and in areas of the hotel. The breakfast aside from the make your own waffles was horrible, it’s almost cleared out an hour into breakfast and the apple juice was actual water, while the orange juice is either watered down or going bad. For the price it’s, good enough. But borderline overpriced for the cleanliness and disrepair. The woman working the front desk as I said though was very kind and professional.

It was well kept outside. Clean inside. AC worked. Clean sheets and towels. We were able to change our reservation to a different room at the last minute. Upkeep issues like broken tiles in high traffic areas. Broken elevator. Limited breakfast. Probably just an overall typical Leesville hotel but not up to Laquinta standards.

breakfast was not to desirable only had sausage room was adequate but around the ac unit the floor was very very soft only thing holding up the wood was the carpet . Also when we walked on the door of the room my wife stepped on a cockroach . the shower door would not close good.

Nice place to stay while visiting relatives. Staff at checkin and checkout were very nice. Room smelled extra fresh and clean. Loved there was no carpet. No yucky bedspreads. All the linens were fresh and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Dirty…. Unfriendly… desk not manned … do not stay here

This property has not been taking care. The floors got cracks, the walls has scratches and holes,the property inside smells bad. The sink and toilet were dirty in the room when we checked in. This is not acceptable for a hotel right outside a military base.
