Great hotel, good location
-
Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient direct entry to room from parking lot. Sink in bathroom and in bedroom (with mirror).
-
Super clean, good location for skiing, big room They use an automated app download link thing sent to your phone to let you in and unlock the door. It did not work for me. I arrived after staff were in bed. Good idea to have the emergency number ( 802 375 3035 ) - not only the main front desk line- if you will arrive after desk hours are shut.

Room was great but tv and internet were spotty.
-
Baseboard heater clicking on and off kept from sleeping. This was in the second room- the first one was under other guests where we could hear them normal voice and their footsteps. The location to the lift is great but the sound insulation is terrible.

Charming rustic inn. Staff were delightful and food was great.

You can walk right to the lift Nothing

Food and drinks at the bar were very good. Location to Magic Mountain was great. Staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Room could use a little updating.

The heating units ran all night which were noisy.

Food was very good. Staff was great. The heater in the room was very noisy. The tv cable access was quite limited. Could not watch the Celtics game. That station was not available.
-
room and staff were good. the pipes for heat made a little too much noise.

The staff was great, and the dinner we had there was very good. The lounge looked comfortable, but we didn’t use it. We thought they served breakfast but they don’t—but the staff recommended a place we really enjoyed. There was no elevator, which was hard for my husband, who uses a cane. And we didn’t realize that so didn’t request the ground floor, so he had to navigate stairs.

Very noisy. Room does not have good sound insulation. Staff is not supportive. Not recommand.

This place was a dream, everybody was so nice! We felt at home and safe.

I had one excellent dinner in their restaurant the evening I arrived at the Lodge. The electronic access to the room via the phone app did not work, so I had to get a key card from the owner, but that is a very minor issue.

The Upper Pass Lodge is in a beautiful location. We took a late afternoon walk up the road to the ski lodge, and really enjoyed the gorgeous view of Magic Mountain. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. She also did the job of bartender when we stopped in after dinner for a drink - and again - she was very kind. The main room downstairs had a cozy fire and we enjoyed hanging out there for a bit. Free wifi was also greatly appreciated. The facilities themselves were clean enough, but pretty worn around the edges. We had a room right over the kitchen area and it was fairly noisy. The shower door didn't close properly, and the mini-split heating unit took a very long time to come on. The bed was adequate, but not super-comfortable. The room lacked features that might have made the stay a bit more convenient - like a night stand on both sides of the bed, or a soap holder in the bathroom.

Very clean quiet room. They do not offer breakfast. Nobody available in morning for checkout. No elevator to upper floors. About a quarter mile away I was able to hike the ski trails for an invigorating morning hike. I was there just before the skiing started.
