This report details a formal grievance regarding a highly unsatisfactory stay and the subsequent failure of customer support to provide an adequate refund. The experience involved a hostile environment, substandard living conditions, and an insulting resolution from the booking platform. Upon checking into the reserved room, an immediate inspection revealed that the essential heating and air conditioning unit was non functional. When assistance was requested, the host's response was unprofessional and aggressive; she reportedly screamed at the guest, stating they should never return. Although a third party eventually restored the unit's function, the initial interaction established a deeply unwelcoming and volatile atmosphere. Beyond the equipment failure and verbal hostility, , the property failed to meet basic cleanliness standards. The presence of a pest infestation (specifically cockroaches) and overall poor room maintenance posed significant health and safety risks. These factors led the guest to immediately request a full cancellation and reimbursement, which the host flatly refused before terminating the conversation by retreating indoors. The guest promptly contacted Booking.com customer service to escalate the matter and request a supervisor's intervention. Despite a representative attempting to facilitate communication, the property owners refused to answer the phone or respond to inquiries. This lack of cooperation from the host further complicated the dispute resolution process. The platform initially stated they could not take immediate action without extensive proof of the hygiene issues and the hostile environment. Following a brief investigation period, the final resolution offered was wholly disproportionate to the grievance. The full cash payment of $171.75. The remedy from booking.com $15.46 The offer of a 9% refund in the form of store credit is an unacceptable response to a situation involving verbal abuse and unsanitary... Everything sleeping ? with roach ? after roach ? after roach ? everything dirty homeless people and addicts stay here The scum lord management was the worst

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The remote did nothing, they had some weird HDMI setup that didn’t work lol so we didn’t have TV. Not a huge deal about that, but the area was sketchy!!!

I arrived around 5:30 PM, and there was no one at the front desk. The area was extremely cluttered, with papers taped everywhere, and there were no clear instructions on how to check in. I called the property and received no response. After waiting, I went through a gated door that led toward the rooms, assuming I would find someone to assist. At that point, a woman came out of one of the rooms and began yelling at me, accusing me of “breaking in.” She told me I should have rung a doorbell. I went back, exited the gate, rang the doorbell as instructed—and she then told me she refused to check me in specifically because she believed I had broken in, despite my confirmed, prepaid reservation. I was ultimately denied service entirely and had to leave and book another hotel. This was not a misunderstanding—the entire situation felt unprofessional and disorganized, and it did not resemble a legitimate hotel check-in process. Be aware: - There may be no staff present at check-in - There are no clear instructions for guests - You risk being denied access even with a valid reservation I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere to avoid the risk of being turned away with no place to stay.

Gets the job done, affordable. Parking was chaotic. Unexpected cash only deposit, luckily there is an atm within walking distance.

Worst motel. The manager the wife and husband are both rude and racist. Noticed someone wrote on the wall they were racist when I first stayed and didn’t think anything. They painted over it but it turned out to be true. They do not like black people or young people.
