La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lumberton

This site is under construction. Lots of noise. May be really nice when finished. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean but the hallway floor needed attention. However, there were some oil company workers staying at the motel that had stuff on their boots so they were tracking stuff into the motel. Everything else was very clean, the staff was excellent, and the breakfast good. The breakfast lady was keeping the breakfast area very clean. We were able to park close to the front door with our handicapped placard. This is the second time we have stayed there this year and both times were very worthwhile. When we make it that way again, we will stay there for sure.

Breakfast was minimal. Water was readily available which was nice. Staff was amazing. Parking was very good.

Computer was down . Took over an hour and 4 rooms later to check in. Rooms were either unmade or occupied. Front desk staff tried their hardest to accommodate.

Bring your mold and mildew spray, but it won't work. The window facing the back of the property from our room was covered in mildew so bad that it worked as a curtain. It also smelled moldy in the room and throughout the hallway. Because of this, the air quality was horrible, smelly, and it was difficult to relax. The staff were friendly though. One other thing is that if you check in before 3pm, there is a $35 early check in fee. So we waited, along with an influx of other guests, to check in promptly at 3pm. Lastly, in order to close our room door, we had to shove it hard 3 to 4 times to get it latched.

Fire alarms went off early morning & local fire officials including the fire Marshall had to come in our room. This happened multiple times that morning. We left as the noise & chaos were too much. Elevator was slow & bumpy..floor numbers didn’t display so you just had to wait till the door open to know where you were. Air conditioner in the hall didn’t work so it was very hot in the halls. AC in the room was extremely noisy. Window covering was not fit & had holes. Bathroom door would not stay open so we had to put toilet paper under it to keep it open. Had we had any other options we would have checked out immediately & moved to a more suitable hotel. Will never stay or even consider the La Quinta chain for any future travel.

Great location next to a Walmart, close to a Starbucks and about 20 minutes away from the Big Thicket Natural Preserve. The rooms were clean and well maintained.

Property is under construction so breakfast options are limited, but staff was extremely accommodating and provided a fully accessible room upon request after I accidentally booked the wrong one online.

Everything was wonderful!

Overall our stay was good. We loved the storage in the room. It felt overall clean but there was a dead bug in the restroom. The thing that we did not love was the breakfast only went to 8am and when you are on vacation that is pretty early to be up and at em. The staff was great!

The TV has 1 station and you can tell its rigged up illegally. You have to click on a folder like its a computer.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy but the window covering did not cover but half of the window. Someone shined an infra red pointer into our window at night and the parking lot light was shining in so I put our bed pillows in the window to block it so we could have some privacy and be able to sleep.

Rooms smelt musty, night stand between the beds were sticky from the previous guests, a/c blew extremely humid making it hard to be comfortable. ill sleep in my truck before i waste $100 at a laquinta

Room was good-sized; breakfast was good.

Property is very dated and in need of renovation.

Had to move rooms because the shower was broken and the air-conditioning was extremely noisy
