Timberlake Motel

Very quiet, clean and very respectful people thanks for the stay

Clean , friendly, nice stay

Would give another star but it's in need of new furniture. Would stay again if ever in the area

The staff always helpful and we have stayed here a couple of times. As much as they keep saying they are working to improve the motel, there are always things that seem pretty simple to fix that are left alone. The pictures you see online are NOT what you get. Our room had nothing on the wall. No headboard, no pictures, nothing to warm it or give it character. Bed way too close to AC. 2 ft was too much air for person on that side of the bed. Bathroom faucet steady stream of water leaking all night. The coax cable mess behind tv was unsightly. Did it get the job done as far as putting a roof over our head? Yes. Was it warm and inviting? Not there yet

This hotel makes us feel so comfortable we slept all night. There is a warmth in the room and I will be returning every time I need to go visit my LU student

Pleasantly surprised by Timberlake. Clean. Comfortable. Economical. A great budget option near LU

The entire staff was like family. Quiet. Clean. Me amazingly soft beds. Laminated floors, so bring slippers. Tiny bit outdated, but that keeps the cost down. Very safe. Personalized water bottles too make you feel welcome coming and going. Big TVs. Cold refrigerator and freezer BEDS ARE TALL. If YOU aren't, they have stools with railings to help you. Parking lots will lit. Outside pool looked very clean. BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST!!!

Checked in very late at night while traveling. Staff was accommodating to our circumstances and treated us courteously. Room was very basic but maintained well. A/C blew cold and mini-fridge kept beverages crisp. Did not use the pool but it appeared to be in good shape and maintained regularly. Breakfast was served promptly as we were informed, items were fresh, and cleanup was simple. Would stay here again on my way through Virginia.

We were at college for a weekend and it worked out perfect for us We were close by the school, the place was a older place but very clean and the breakfast every morning had a lot of options, it was nice and I enjoyed it and it was all very good 👍 The staff that I interacted with was Dianna and Janna during our stay. These ladies were so wonderful, friendly, very helpful and accommodating with answers and assistance with all my questions and any needs that arose during our stay. They have nice personal touches with the labels on the complimentary water bottles they give you at check in and check out, which I found so nice. 😊 I would definitely say if you want a nice clean, friendly, no frills but really good breakfast and nice HOT showers little quieter place to stay…. I would say go to Timberlake Motel

Front desk clerk kind and welcoming, the breakfast was PHENOMENAL AND THE ROOM WAS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN

Staff is exceptionally nice / friendly / helpful. Price is fair. I have no complaints. Will stay again.

Was clean and nice place to stay. Would stay there again

Older motel but staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, but dated.

Room was immaculate, the entire staff was friendly and helpful,

The motel advertises non smoking. However, from the second you walk in, it heavily smells of smoke through the whole place. At the entrance, there is some type of liquid being released in the air and the room had a plugged in potpourri pot going. It was overbearing in the room. All of this was to disguise the overall terrible smell. I even broke out in a rash and was only in the room for a few minutes. The bathroom also had mold in all the caulk along the shower. The floor of the shower was also dirty. The employee at the desk was nice and helpful.

Convenient location when traveling

Great, everything was perfect.

Clean room

Conveniently located to area attractions and a good price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Timberlake Motel, and can see why so many other guests have given this homey accommodation such glowing reviews. The staff were very courteous and welcoming and the room was quiet and well appointed, with a luxurious bed and linens that made for a very pleasant rest. The Timberlake Motel is also conveniently placed with easy access to the downtown historic district or to some of the other landmark areas of Lynchburg, such as the university or shopping mall. Will stay there again when I'm in the Lynchburg area, and look forward to it.
