Property is very run down. Our room was filthy. Bedding stained, toilet seat stained and floor was extremely dirty. My kids were very much looking forward to the fishing pond advertised as an amenity. Unfortunately the dock was sinking, a rowboat was full of water and beer cans, and the pond was covered entirely in weeds. We didn’t even stay the night.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to downtown stores and restaurants.

I'm surprised the goldfish in the pond (whose bubbler wasn't working) were still alive, swimming in that algae-dark water. The place was a wreck. "Resort," indeed!

Breakfast needs to be improved. It's a very basic continental breakfast. There was no waffle maker, no peanut butter for toast. All different kinds of coffee, but no decaf coffee. We were there for 3 breakfasts. Same hot breakfast everyday - fried eggs and sausage patty. There was no yogurt. One day there were no muffins or other sweet pastries.
-
The bathroom was nice however, they did not provide enough towels. We had to request more towels. The beds were subpar. They squeak when you sit on it and it sounds like the springs are going to crack.

The place was filthy! It’s really too bad. This place has the “bones” to be great, but it is in overall disrepair. Nothing presented online here on Expedia for this place is true! It’s very deceiving! I’d remove it from places to stay in Manchester, Vermont, if I were this app. Yikes!!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful Room was musty, not, particularly clean. For the price, breakfast was ridiculous. Furnishings were old. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

I stayed for one night, and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. We could hear everything from our room, making it impossible to relax. My bed was right next to the connecting door to the adjoining room, so every noise came through. I had an awful night's sleep. We stayed in Room #30, and I hope the hotel addresses the soundproofing because it really affected our stay.

Super location, loved the giant firepit for relaxing at night, nicest people, good sized room & everything we needed. Great coffee in the morning.

The grounds are expansive with pool, tennis and golf on site. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of windows and a small outside walkway with chairs to sit outside. The outside and inside tiling need attention. The AC never worked, the sofa bed was broken with a very dirty sheet inside. The tv was tiny with no premium channels. No desk area. The walls are thin so there’s noise from next door. The morning breakfast was bagels, instant oatmeal, pitchers of milk and OJ and a coffee machine. I saw 1 sausage patty on the 3 mornings I was there. No hot breakfast. The weekend restaurant was never open. I stopped in at 8:45pm Fri night for a glass of wine and the front desk suggested I walk to the liquor store. The firepit was finally lit my last night after another guest complained and it’s quite pretty. That same guest said she enjoyed the outdoor pool but the indoor pool had not been open her previous 2 years stays. I asked if it was open at checkout and the desk said it was. I never got to see it myself. It was not perfect but I would stay again in one of their newer rooms just for the location.

Michael and his staff were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great visit. We stayed in one of the suites, which was clean and felt luxurious. There was a lovely view of the mountain. The jacuzzi was a welcome sight at the end of a long day. We would stay here again.

Never got any. Handout they gave us said started at 6. The office person said 7. At 6:50 office and breakfast area still dark. We had reserved 2 queen beds but they were double. Very uncomfortable night. Needs some upgrading. Breakfast times. No ice.

Beautiful property with great potential to be a fabulous resort but it needs a lot of work and upkeep It’s run down and dirty. Check in is at 3pm, we checked into our assigned room at 3:30, upon entering the room it was already occupied. Waited for the room to be cleaned. We went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and sheets to clean up ourselves. The furniture was visibly dirty, the tub and sink were dirty. Sitting at breakfast, everyone that went to the front desk had complaints about their room. We didn’t dare use the swimming pools or hot tub

Loved this little motel style resort. Our king room was HUGE. The water in the shower was HOT. AC wasn’t the best but kept us cool enough plus a fan above the bed. Stunning area and the small town near by is soo cute

Spacious property & rooms in a great location. The amenities are 30 years outdated, sadly, considering the potential this beautiful land occupies. The pools needed refinishing (paint peeling & floating, grime stuck on floor & walls) slimy feel on the walls, the hot tub inside was running, but in a dark, sad corner overlooking the peeling pool. The outdoor spa was empty, filled with rainwater and leaves. The fishing dock was crumbling and adjacent to a sunken boat full of bottles & trash. Restaurant, closed. Breakfast was continental. Staff so nice. There were only 3 people on the property, but all of us next to each other with a parking lot view. Affordable, 1 star motel in a great location.
