Baymont by Wyndham Mandan Bismarck Area

Room was clean and staff were very helpful with an Expedia glitch.

My personal room was okay but the rest of the facility inside and outside is in much need of repair.

Nothing Verrun down, dirty, tv remote didn’t work, air system was wonky, breakfast was served until 9:45 not 10 lady was rude in the breakfast area should be about a $50 per night place at best!!

When we checked in someone behind the counter lacked some personal hygiene care, like maybe using some underarm deodorant, both were very nice but the smell was repelling. I asked for two more towels in the evening, and was told it would be 30 minutes they were all in the dryer... I would think that a hotel that size would have some inventory. the towels did arrive within 30 minutes, however when you have had a hard day and you come in at 9:30 and realize you have only two towels in your room you don't want to stay up another 30 minutes to wait on towels. Thanks goodness they came. Mostly we did not the idea of paying for two king rooms and only getting 1.

The best part of staying here was leaving. This hotel sucks! Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The staff sucked, the hotel was a dump, hallway was soaked with water and the room and bathroom were covered in black mold. I asked for a refund and said there was mold in the room and the front desk just said okay. Never gave me a refund until I called the next day and threatened to turn them in.

Friendly staff but hotel is old

Definitely do not recommend. Not a well kept hotel. Did not end up staying after seeing the state of the other. While we were checking out other guests were coming up to asked to be switched to a different room that was not so dirty. He then came back and said he’d rather just stay in his current room because the new room was no better.

Asked to be moved immediately. Nobody seemed to have the authority. It took until next evening before someone had the smarts to move us. General conditions were extremely worn and unkempt. Inside and out. Fire extinguishers in the hallways were marked by the fire inspector as FAILED. The overhead utilities in the pool were supported by iron supports that are all rusted through, hanging now by sheet metal screws holding it together Rained….. lobby poured rain I could continue, but I think you have the idea. AVOID AT ALL POSSIBLE COSTS.

Breakfast was good , pool area looked like it could use some work. The hot tub was disgustingly gross.

It needs serious revamping.

Property needs upgrades! The first room did not work because of a barking dog. Second room was quiet enough. Elevator smells like burning wires? Parking convenient but the luggage dolly had a bad wheel and was barely usable. Just a run down ...low class feeling over all. Didn't go to breakfast due to family plans out of the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times because it is close to my family members but if I visit Mandan again I will look for other accommodations!

The floor in the restaurant is sticky Same breakfast menu everyday The receptionist did not know what the charges were when I checked out. Kept going in circles for lack of training.

All carpet is visibly filthy. The fire extinguisher outside out door with a big red “FAIL” tag on its inspection tag was a nice cherry on top of this disgusting hotel.

Passable

Old and dirty. Looked like a herd of cattle walked in the hallway as carpet was nasty. A/C in room was extremely loud. Wife complained that bed was to hard. Pillows were old and well used.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve had in a Hotel ever. First off, the wifi wouldn’t work and when I tried to call the front desk our room phone had no dial tone. After a long day and going off the reviews I expected something a lot better for the price I paid. I then went for a shower and the tap to turn on the water for the shower almost fell off the wall. The room did not cool down either. Lastly, I woke up to the entrance being completely soaked of water about two feet into our room. Don’t stay here.

Poor wifi. Ac barley worked.

Nice place to stay, they are upgrading AC units and other features.
