They don’t have adequate parking also in the bar they didn’t have popular drinks available at breakfast there was no jam the tables were unbalanced like the staff at the front still lacks a lot of kindness
-
Nice place, but they are renovating, so a lot of construction going on at the time. Minor inconvenience. Noisy in the morning but evening s were quiet. Staff friendly/helpful. Room was very nice, well appointed. We had a junior suite. Hotel is close to Pike’s Peak and Garden of the Gods. There’s an arcade right across the street that is fun. Hotel Bar and restaurant was okay. We had breakfast twice and dinner once. Filet minion was good.
-
The construction and the renovation is all around you and it is not a good time to book this hotel
-
Undergoing a renovation, hallway carpets are badly stained and place looks run down. Feel rooms are overpriced for the condition this place is currently in.
-
Despite still undergoing its renovation and at times a bit noisy, Cliff House remains the premier hotel in Manitou Springs!
-
It was under construction and not noted.
-
Location, and different style. Almost all the hotel was being under renovation / construction; So it didn’t felt cozy. If we had seen that the hotel was under construction / renovation, we would had chosen other place.

All was good and went well

The staff are very responsive to your every wish, but the noise and rerouting are Just too bothersome, especially without any discounts to make it more bearable. For $300 a nite, I wish I had gone elsewhere. Parden our dust? No- it is Parden our Backhoes Plus, this the hotel that never heard of the ADA and never heard of water rationing. Wheel chair guests enter and exit thru the kitchen. Wasted water streamed down the driveway and on to the street everyday. No alternate water days here. Sprinklers run uncontrolled. They really need to make better decisions.
-
Under construction. Would not have made the reservation if I’d known beforehand. The staff was 1st rate. They alone made the stay tolerable despite the dilapidated facility.
-
Even under construction it was an amazing experience. The room was FABULOUS and the location is perfect. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
-
Beautiful property, and excellent location. We loved our stay.
-
Construction going on all day.

This historical property is still a lovely location, great food, nice staff. I knew there was construction and still decided to stay. I think the new owners could do nice things to draw people to stay during the construction phase so we would come back when it is finished. Examples of needed additions: ice water in the lobby, free cookies, free drink for happy hour, crazy food specials at the restaurant with fun names related to the construction phase, offer people information about what is coming new, have a large board of renderings etc. The place is old and should have been renovated earlier so I am glad they are spending money and think this phase could be fun - it is a bit stale and boring as a culture

The location was perfect! We loved being able to easily enjoy the local downtown shops, restaurants, and everything the area has to offer. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Beautiful hotel, great location, and outstanding hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Cliff House at Pikes Peak to anyone visiting the area!

Their restaurant does serve a nice breakfast and I would recommend including breakfast as part of your booking package if you book through Expedia.
