The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain

I used valet parking for my Mercedes. When I arrived my car was spotless. When I checked out my car was covered with spots from what looked like a irrigation system. I could barely see out the windshield and side windows. When i asked them to wash it off or at least spray it off they stated they could not.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning desert scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. Every staff member we encountered was professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The level of hospitality exceeded our expectations, and the thoughtful service made our family vacation truly memorable. We also appreciated the excellent recommendations from the concierge and front desk, which helped us enjoy the local area even more. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience.

nothing special I was underwhelmed

Excellent service!

Situated a 30-minute drive from downtown Tucson in a beautiful location surrounded by spectacular views and the iconic Seguro cacti. The location is remote enough that you are essentially dependent upon the on-site services for entertainment, spa activities and food and beverages. As is expected for the Ritz Carlton brand the staff is attentive and hospitable. There are two dining options on site to the main resort and easy access is provided to the associated golf club that services both the resort and the residencies adjacent to the property. The main restaurant has some excellent Japanese choices available as well as the usual Southwest suspects. The beds/pillows and room are extremely comfortable, the rooms highly soundproof for an excellent night’s sleep. The Spa is an excellent refuge for adults with an adjacent gym, steam bath and sauna, and a salt plunge pool and “serenity” pool. Massage and multiple Spa services are available. The high-speed internet performed flawlessly. If you don’t know French figurative speech, look up “A la Carte”. After one is charged the price of your room, everything else available comes at a set price. This is fairly standard for resorts; this info provided for the uninitiated. Be prepared for “sticker-shock” when it comes to prices for the food, the spa, a daily mandatory resort fee and gratuities for the staff. Spa services (Already pricey) on weekend days (Friday – Sunday) will put you back an additional thirty dollars. Note the resort fee does NOT include SPA access that is separate unless you getting a treatment. Depending if you are traveling as a family of four or more the cost may require you to rethink your children’s college fund. But rest assured the quality of the products is definitely good. There are coffee machines in your room, but no early morning (5:00 AM) free coffee. A couple of coffees and two muffins can set you back almost $50.

Absolutely beautiful resort! The setting is the most beautiful setting ever!! Lovely spa! Wonderful facials and massages. The dinner and bresksfast buffet were delicious. . It may be pricey but it is well worth it!!

The hotel was amazing, clean, and the entire staff was super friendly and very nice. We would definitely go back. We ate at all three locations and highly recommend. We also recommend the spa. You get access to another pool on your spa days. We went in May before Memorial Day and most of our photos and most of the time we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. We also did two hikes (2.2 and 3.2). Both were amazing and we really enjoyed our time there.

Absolutely top notch. The staff was very attentive, property was beautiful, well maintained, clean. Pool service was excellent; Maddex took very good care of us! Food and drinks were delicious. No complaints here!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Lovely location. We were able to go right out from the room and hike. Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was very kind and went above and beyond.

It was a great stay! We love it there! The staff everywhere is so nice a helpful. We did a wine tasting with Sonja and learned so much about wine from her! We will always come back here!
