The rooms and hotel in general were clean and well maintained with almost every amenity you might enjoy. The staff was friendly and helpful with anything you might think of. Breakfast buffet was awesome with plenty of good seating to catch sunrise over the lake. The multiuse trail is just outside the hotel as well as the old ore dock. The only thing I didn't like was all the spiders and spider webs on the benches near the lake... 😬 Nature will nature 😆 Excellent hotel overall though.

Hotel was spotless! Breakfast was delicious

Great location that was easily walkable to shops and restaurants downtown as well as the park. Dining area is really nice with an outdoor seating area overlooking the Ore Dock and lake. Property felt new and well cared for. Beds were comfortable. A couple slight negatives to note are that the shower head was adjustable but every setting had something odd or uncomfortable about it, and if you choose a lake view but get first floor, it’s a bit obstructed by a stone roof. First floor was super convenient to dining, snacks, and front desk, but I might have requested an upper level for the view, especially considering that you pay a little extra for it (although the price was still very reasonable, considering the quality, location and season). Breakfast had several options with staff on top of refills and cleanup, and it was refreshing to see almond milk as an option! A nice touch I noticed on the way out though was that they had prepared to-go paper bags of breakfast items you could grab on your way out.

Excellent stay... Staff was super helpful, view from the room was terrific, everything was clean and practically new, mattresses were on the hard side (not great), and breakfast was typical, but fresh.

The staff were wonderful and all were kind. The pool was salt water and great to use. You are right by a walking path that leads to all the great stores downtown. There is a small path right by the pool doors that lead to Lake Superior and you can get into the lake. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Overall, I highly recommend staying here,

Everyone was amazing, the room clean, front desk was so nice and even got us checked in early on a Saturday ♥️

It turn outs that they only service the rooms every other day. We had no bed made, no new towels etc. We had to call the front desk to get extra toilet paper and towels on the eve of the second night. Totally unacceptable as there was nothing signaling this when we reserved. We would recommend staying away from this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and the view was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has many good options, although I would add cinnamon for the oatmeal and greek yogurt. Also, the main floor/lobby did not have an ice machine (not a big deal, just an FYI). I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean, beautiful and inviting! The view was amazing. Hot tub and pool were great. Hot breakfast was fantastic. The thing that set the Hampton apart from others was the staff. From the front desk staff to the maintenance people to the housekeeping staff, everyone we encountered was friendly, smiling and acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything! We will definately be staying again!

Loved waterfront room. Wish the AC had a thermostat so it would stop blowing after desired temp reached.
