Almas Hotel

1. Breakfast was satisfactory 2. Room was large and bed was comfy 3. Aircon in room was very comfortable all day. But in the nights after 1 am ,the efficiency of Aircon wud drop.This was uncomfortable. I have infmd the Receptionist before we checked out. 1. Aircon in room was very comfortable all day. The Shower stall drain was clogged. very very bad.Techn was called to clear. 3.Shower stall needs complete replacement. It was not as shown in the photos on "Booking.com". It did not have a soap pot to place the soap on 4.Furniture in room was old. In the photos that we saw before booking the Hotel, the furniture shown was good. We were definitely given an old room. 5.No privacy on balcony. 6.MOST IMPORTANT. I AM A SENIOR QHSE INSPECTOR AND NOTED THAT IN THE LOBBY, THE FIRE HOSE REEL AND FIRE HYDRANT VALVE WAS TOTALLY OBSTRUCTED WITH WOODEN DECORATION. THERE WAS A SOFA PLACED IN FRONT OF THIS FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT. INCASE OF FIRE, YOU WILL NOT GET ACCESS TO IT. HOW DID LOCAL FIRE DEPT APPROVE THIS MAJOR DISCREPANCY?? I HAVE INFMD THE MAN AT RECEPTION ABOUT IT.DO RECTIFY THIS IMMEDIATELY. REFER ATTACHED TWO PHOTOGRAPHS. 7. THEY DID NOT PLACE DRINKING WATER BOTTLES IN ROOM. WHEN A GUEST ARRIVES IN HOTEL ROOM, AFTER A TIRING JOURNEY IN THE HEAT (35 Degrees C), I HAD TO GO OUT IN STREET TO SEARCH FOR A STORE TO BUY COLD DRINKING WATER. 8. THEY DIDNT HAVE A KETTLE IN ROOM FOR US TO MAKE A CUP OF TEA OR COFFEE.My request fell on deaf ears. 9. WE WILL NOT RECOMMENED THIS HOTEL TO SENIOR CITIZENS WHO LIKE MODERN FACILITY AND SAFETY.

The price is very reasonable, which is probably one of the main reasons so many people choose to stay at this hotel. The location is also very convenient. The breakfast was below expectations. The dining area is very small, crowded, and not particularly comfortable. The rooms are quite dark, and the staff were not as friendly or helpful as we had hoped.

Location walking distance from train station. Needs renovation.

The location was excellent, and everything you need was close to the hotel. Everything was good, but there was no bidet/shattaf in the toilet.

Clean, good location with a lot of restaurants around, and centered to easily move around. Not sure if it’s a tradition, but they’ve cats seating on the guest chairs at the reception. This is a bit personal as I don’t like cat. Air conditioning: they seemed to regulate the room temperature for you. The controller in your room appears to have to be turned on by them sending a staff with the remote to turn it on.

The air conditioner did not work but it was cool enough with the balcony door open.

The place was so good to stay, staff so friendly,next time I will be back to this hotel.

Very good, worth the money, nice neighbourhood, close to the city center. Breakfast could be improved.

Very good hotel, super clean, large rooms with everything needed, pool on the roof. Location is great, 5 min walk from the train station, great modern neighborhood, close to many restaurants and shops. Bed is super comfortable and very big. I did not get the room that I booked, I booked one with smoking options, got regular room, they said they had no info about it. The pool closes early, but it was still cold. Breakfast wasn't great, maybe because of the holiday. Also was charged 3 times more money for an airport taxi than the average cost. Disappointed about not getting the right room, but otherwise it's a great hotel!

It's a good hotel with great staffs. Clean and good breakfast. They need to upgrade their bedding. They have no parking for their. Clients. Everything is around it which is good

The location is very near to the shopping areas and very convenient for tourist. They don’t offer any day tour packages

This place was within walking distance to everything . We found restaurants, dry cleaners , walking distance to the train station. The door did not work The bed and pillows were extremely firm The staff was just present.

Great location to downtown, airport and the square. Also to food and anything you need. Staff was courteous and the property was clean. Nothing
