The property exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean, the staff was super-nice, the breakfast was amazing. The furniture in the room was interesting. We enjoyed every bit of our stay there.

Had a fantastic stay here. Staff were super kind and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Great location as well, lots of places to walk to and easy to get a cab if needed. We had a great weekend and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Riad is beautiful. It has a very relaxing and inviting ambiance. We were greeted with tea and biscuits upon arrival and the host was very kind and accommodating. The rooftop top area was also great with a jacuzzi, sunbeds, covered lounge and dining area. Awesome space to escape the hussle and bustle of Marrakesh. The bed was super comfy and the bedroom and bathroom quite spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend it! Nothing.... everything was perfect. It exceeded our expectations.

Staff and Solarium. Smelly bathroom, little privacy on rooms, location far and not accesible by taxi.

We're recently back from an awesome stay at Dar Sholmes. In all the places I've stayed I've never received such an awesome and warm welcome as the one we got from Ismail Hidden down a (safe) back street 15 minutes from the main square, the room was modern and clean, breakfast was nice and the hot tub on the rooftop was massively welcomed after a day of walking. All staff were fantastic, but a special shout out to Salah and Ismail for how helpful and friendly they both were throughout our stay. It may be only classified as a 3 star hotel but relative to what we paid (really important to remember when scoring!!) it is easily a 10/10 score. Would more than happily stay again if we go back to Marrakesh. Nothing about the Riad to dislike!

Location is good, Hot tub really nice and warm, there is also some sun beds, breakfast was ok (but only sweet), workers really nice, helpful and friendly. At the moment we were there, the card machine was broken, so we had to go pay by cash (we paid more, because of the ATM fee and conversion). The electricity was gone multiple times (but for a very short period of time). The room had no windows to the outside, so the air inside was really stuffy. We had breakfast included, but had to leave for few excursions before the breakfast started and they didn’t gave us any food (they are not entitled to do it, but would have been nice to have some fruits or a sandwich, especially when we asked for it). The main door is always locked and you don’t have its key, so every single time you want to enter, you have to ring the doorbell and wait (was not a problem for us, but may be for someone).

The property was in a great location only 20 mins walk from the main square and close to the airport. The room was a good size - clean and comfortable. It was nice that they pre-heated the room before we arrived as it was cold outside and would have been cold in the room. The shower was warm and the bed comfy. The styling was really nice as well with a big comfy sofa in the reception area. Staff were brilliant and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent. Very good service. Ibrahiem and Saleh (the staff) were both very friendly and helpful. They gave us information whenever we asked to make our trip comfortable.

The staff was incredibly friendly, shout out to Ismael, he arranged a private transfer from the airport for us, and upon arrival we received some tea while we waited for our room to be ready. He also gave us a map of Marrakech and showed us where all the important sights are located and how to get their from the hotel. The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for us, not too close to all the noise of the medina but still in perfect walking distance. The shower runs out of hot water pretty fast and it takes a long time for it to become hot, so be warned. Towels are due for a replacement as well.

What made the difference was the people working in the hotel. They were all very willing to assist you and solve any small issues may occur.

Staff realy kond but nit English speaking Too small rooms. And lack of maintenance in apartment. Almost all what was part of room equipment was not working or now working properly. Too nice pictures comparing to reality.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast is very poor. They serve only couple of sweets. The rooms have no windows to the outside, only to the inner courtyard, so it's airless and oppressive. And finally I had a problem and the manager/owner was unavailable by phone and chat.

The staff was extremely supportive and always ready to help, which made my stay very comfortable. The room was spacious and well-maintained, providing ample space to relax. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable and fast, which was a big plus for me. I found the breakfast to be quite average. There’s definitely room for improvement in terms of variety.

Location

Excellent authentic stay in the medina. Location was fantastic and an easy stroll to the centre square and markets. There is a little short walk down the alleyways from where the taxi dropped us for our check in. We found this really interesting and part of the fun finding our riad (traditional hotel). The welcome was amazing and Ishmail went through a map with us to guide us...it was so helpful. Cleanliness was perfect and our room with ensuite was spacious and comfortable (comfy pillows too !) Breakfast was similar to continental...fruit, breads and pancakes. Then we could select an evening meal in the morning and they went out to buy the ingredients fresh that day. We ate on the rooftop on two evenings and the food was fabulous ? Salah and Ishmail were amazing throughout and even found soccer channels for us so that we could watch Ireland and Morocco games? We availed of the hottub on the rooftop during our stay too, which was fab ?. We always bring our favourite tea bags with us and they happily gave us boiling water, cups and milk to take to our room when we asked. If you like an authentic old town experience in a super clean and friendly setting close to the centre we would highly recommend this riad. Loved it all ? Nothing.
