My favorite place in Marrakech! Very peaceful and relaxing. Good beds, good showers, good neighborhood and very nice staff!

Lovely riad with clean, large room. Tasty breakfast. Very helpful staff. Great, convenient location in the medina. n/a

The rooms are very crowded. Not every bed has its own power outlets. The hostel offers parking, but has none, they just refer you to public parking. They charge at a slightly increased exchange rate, if you booked in another currency than MAD.

Great hostel with a lovely central courtyard. Met a lot of nice people! The breakfast was delicious and free mint tea was plentiful. Good central location yet felt tucked away and wasn't loud. Women's bunks are right off the courtyard so sometimes there is a little noise from that but generally people are respectful, especially after quiet hours. More seating in the courtyard would be lovely, but perhaps it was just busy when we were there.

The beautiful courtyard, rooftop patio area, kind and helpful staff, good breakfast & Moroccan tea. It’s very clean, with many places to sit and relax or chat with other travelers. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff! This was my first impression of Morocco and I’m so happy I stayed there. Loads of inexpensive excursions can be booked directly from the hostel. Mattresses were not comfortable; one can hear everything in the courtyard (from the ground floor rooms) and other guests were not really considerate of this. The “street” it’s on and the ones leading up to it looked sketchy and like you’re going into an unsafe alleyway but once inside the hostel, it’s great.

Location The owner of the riad is extremely rude and has a tendency to get aggresive. I read the past comments but didnt thought much of it - my bad. I booked a 6 bed mixed room after reading the bad comments about the condition of the 4 bed female room. However when I arrived the owner placed me in the 4 bed female room, when I asked why and if I can be moved back to the 6 bed room he stated raising his voice and telling me that as a Turkish girl coming from a Muslim country I shouldnt be staying with men. I mentioned that I especially booked the 6 bed one however he started accusing me of wanting to sleep with men and raising his voice. I felt extremely uncomfortable but didnt want to cause a scene or deal with his aggressiveness so just sucked it in and stayed here for two nights. On top of all of it the four bed female room was in very bad condition with mold stains everywhere, no where to move at all and the shower over flowing into the bedroom. And cherry on top there was hair in my breakfast.

The property is in a great location within perfect walking distance to Palacio Bahia, Jemaa El Fna, and other locations. The staff was extremely helpful in booking tours, extremely responsive, personable, and kind. Abdul especially was fantastic. If you want a traditional riad at an affordable price, this is a great option.

Location was perfect and breakfast was really great. The beds in the rooms were comfy and the whole hostel has a really cool vibe with the internal courtyard beautiful rooftop. Staff were kind (Thank you Mr. Abdul!) and it was excellent value overall. I found everything great to be honest - the hostel does 'close' at midnight, theres no keycard or anything to get in the door, someone has to come and let you in and out and they stop doing that at midnight. That didnt bother me as I was never out past them, but if you are planning on late nights out this is something to consider.

The staff has been super nice and on my last day they also prepared me breakfast 1 hour before because I had to get a flight! Nothing

We didn’t stay, he refused to accommodate us! Rude host

Quiet, peaceful, good energy, helpful staff, excellent breakfast with coffee, freshly made food and home made yoghurt! Shared room well laid out with separate toilets and showers within the dorm room, each with doors. It would be nice if there was non scented soap for the laundry and hands. (I could not use the hand towel or soap in the bathroom as I am allergic to scents). The mattress was comfortable, yet it would be nice to have cotton sheets and blankets rather than synthetic. Another small thing would be to put a small keychain on the locker keys.. they were so small I was worried about loosing it!

Clean, easy to find, nice staff, taxi to airport was arranged perfectly

As a solo female traveler, this place had the perfect location. It was right at the entrance of the medina and it really was a blessing with my luggage and also to sleep comfortably and be a tiny bit away from souks The owners and team are extremely nice. If you need help, they will stretch a hand. Remain communicative! If you arrive late, if your flight is delayed, if there’s a problem in the room. They will really try their best to help you Breakfast was nice! Coffee, milk, yogurt, tea, bread, eggs, crepes, jam. It was nice to sit in the morning with everyone and have breakfast Here are a few things to keep in mind! After 12am / 12:30am the doors will be closed. It not like hostel where they give you a key and it’s 24/7. It’s for our safety I originally booked a 4 female bedroom and found it quite small. I wanted an upgrade and they happily accepted. I was moved to a 6 female bedroom and the size of the room was amazing. Heads up! Bring your own towel, and if you’re coming into a cold time, extra pair of long pijamas.

Hamza and Abdoul were super friendly and very helpful; they made you feel at home right from the start. It’s a great clean hostel, very centrally located in a quiet side street. They include a tasty full breakfast that is a wonderful way to start the day. Night lights for each bed would be a nice touch.

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

Terrible! I’ve Booked A Room But when I arrived they put me in a different Room which was smaller then I couldn’t sleep because of the guy snoring all night , when I complained the next morning they didn’t want to move me to another room even there was so many beds Free, Stuff Are Not Nice They Closed The Terrace at Midnight They were literally mean And Asked us to leave in a rude way

I stayed at this hostel multiple times during my time in Morocco. Very friendly staff and clean facilities. They have always been very helpful with my bookings and information on travel. The breakfast is very good. It has an excellent location at the Medina in Marakesh. You are very close to all the action. The hostel, though, is very quiet and a nice escape. They also recently moved all smoking to the upper terrace. In the past, smoke would filter into the bedrooms around the courtyard. A needed improvement. Nothing
