The staff was very disrespectful like they didn't like My skin tone.

Good place for a stop over night. Right off Interstate 81. Fast food shops about 1 mile east of property. Two gas stations across the road with convenient stores.

Convenient location. Helpful Staff. Maintenance of plumbing should be addressed.

Room was decent & clean. The breakfast listed in the amenities was very misleading. A brown paper sack with a muffin, juice box and a cup of fruit. The layout of the place was challenging with having to go down 3 stairs for ground floor rooms from the main lobby. Idk the breakfast thing got me. Very misleading.

This is very obviously a residential hotel: a handful of ‘residents’ milling around the entrance and parking lot. The outside of the building is filthy, along with the windows, uncared for. My room was just inside the entrance door, which I was glad of. The room was clean, but as far as amenities, forget it. Two little slivers of soap, 1x2 is all you get. Coffee, no creamer. No breakfast to speak of, and the proprietor was not around when I checked out. The worst part was an EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR IN MY ROOM, there was no visible knob on the outside, but neither was there a lock. Because it looked unused, I had no idea if the alarm would go off if someone DID try to come thru. Not a good experience.

Exceptional

I was looking for an inexpensive place to sleep on my trip from NY to SC. Would I stay there again, most likely not.

The hotel room was clean and updated. The staff was helpful and courteous. The place was great

The HOT/COLD water in the bathroom sink were switched, I found out the hard way, as I was making my sports drink. Things happen when you are remodeling. The property is quiet, since there is a WV state police Barack next door. A/C, TV, & Xfinity, worked great. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms was clean but the AC unit was a bit loud.

The room was very clean and comfortable, however at times we could smell cigarette smoke although we were in a non- smoking room. Wish there had been atleast 1 pack of coffee in room.

The room had a strong musty odor combined with a noticeable urine smell. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking room, it also smelled like stale cigarette smoke, making the room very unpleasant. Customer service was equally disappointing. Before booking, I called to ask about arriving before 1:00 PM, and the owner told me there would be no additional charge. However, when I arrived, I was told I had to pay an extra $35 for early check-in, even though the receipt stated the early check-in fee before 1:00 PM was $25. The information provided over the phone did not match what happened at check-in. I had booked online and felt stuck because getting a refund was not an option. If you are considering staying here, I recommend confirming every fee in writing before booking and being prepared for unexpected charges.

Checked in, they make you pay a $50 refundable charge after your stay. Checked into my room and it look as if someone had literally just been in there. Used towels all over the bathroom floor and the bed was unmade. Most likely dirty sheets too

I did not like the property Everything

Easy access to 81, clean room, friendly staff. A/c was top tier.

Check in was quick and simple. Gentlemen at the front desk was very pleasant. Room was standard with a small fridge and microwave. Everything was clean and in good condition. Bed was a bit too firm for my taste but that is subjective. Water pressure in the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. Was charged a $50 incidentals fee on my credit card but was reimbursed immediately upon check out. There were a few restaurants in the area close to the motel. All in all, for the price, it was a nice place to stop for one night on my drive north.

I would not recommend staying here, especially if you’re traveling with children. We were asked to leave at 2:00 p.m. because management said my kids were being too loud, while also telling me another guest was allowed to stay because she had been there longer. When I requested a refund for the unused nights, I was told no. They then informed Hotels.com that I should only receive a refund for one night instead of the two I had left because I checked out around 1:00 p.m. instead of the 11:00 a.m. checkout time. Overall, I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled and the lack of fair customer service.
