Traveling with family and was just staying overnight. We checked into the room and as we usually do, we went up to the room to check everything and we usually do a quick disinfect. When we checked into the room, we found that the bathroom had not been cleaned. I noticed several dirty towels on the sink and when I checked the toilet, I found that it was not working. Not only did it not flush, but it was still dirty from the last person that had used it. So obviously whoever went to clean the room would have noticed that the toilet had never been flushed. Then apparently housekeeping, checked that off as a clean room and whoever would’ve been the head of housekeeping would’ve also double checked that and checked it off as a clean room. How a toilet full of poop rates as a cleaned room I’m not sure. We went down to the front desk and explained this and requested another room. The lady behind the counter gave us keys and gave us another room however she acted as if this was not a big deal and never apologized. Just issued us keys for a new room. The second room was better, but obviously had not been cleaned as there were coffee stains by the sink and on the doorway into the bathroom. The following morning, the breakfast was OK, but not as good as a lot of the Holiday Inns We have stayed at before. Found a couple of the milks that we got out for the kids were expired. The selection on the breakfast was just OK. Overall, not the best Holiday Inn we’ve ever stayed at.

The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. The bathroom needs a fan and the tv's need to be upgraded to smart tv's.

Initially upon check in, I was given room 422. U went upstairs and the room had not been cleaned. I went back down to the reception area and informed the clerk. She promptly apologized and got me assigned another room. Very kind and professional.

The night time desk manager was amazing. We showed up to a nasty room with a clogged toilet and dirty shower. She immediately swapped our rooms for us. She honestly saved our whole trip. For her alone we will go again. But the rest of the staff was lacking.
