Motel 6 Cutler Bay, FL

The Front Desk Clerk, Harvey, was so nice, but his efforts w/ kindness can’t save that place. It was just nasty: dirty/ trash every where in the parking lot, down the halls, by the elevator. In the room: pealing paint, bathtub w/ mold, wall sockets w/o covering & wires sticking out. & there were also some questionable characters staying at the hotel. I was afraid to leave my room. Basically, I rented the room for two nights, b/c my A/C was out & wanted to stay close by. I live in a really nice neighborhood, so I was shocked that this hotel is in this condition. I could handle no breakfast or accessible pool, but the utter decay at this hotel I just couldn’t handle. I ended up booking accommodations elsewhere (about 20 minutes away) at a really, really nice hotel— just as affordable/ maybe only slightly more expensive by $20 a night & well worth it. All I know is that I’m writing a letter to my Mayor: this shouldn’t be the only hotel in Cutler Bay, and it most certainly doesn’t represent our lovely community. Something needs to be done.

El piso se mojaba en los día que estuve Allí nunca fueron limpiar Un día se la llave dejó de funcional y fui reclamar lo sucedido y dijo el que me atendió que lo hiciera otra que todo estaba bien le hizo subir y bajar 2 vece al parece Aparecer no tenían ganas de trabajar, no pienso ir más a ese lugar

My room was the worse room I EVER stayed in wake up to a floor flooded with water

Black mold Everywhere in the room. Everything is damp in the room to where the sheets are wet. The floors are slippery. The most uncomfortable experience I’ve ever had staying in a room. I didn’t even stay.

Increíble que todo este tan horrible un UN solo hospedaje. Las sábanas manchadas. No habia para reponerlas Las toallas con pelos (usadas). Las superficies de cama y mesa estaba húmedo. Todo el piso cochino con restos de cigarro. Elevador fuera de servicio. Escaleras inundadas y con peste a basura o podrido. El A/C no se podía setear a menos frío. Por lo tanto pase frío. Desperdicios de basura esparcidos en el parqueo. Me wueme con agua en la ducha pues en la habitacion 412 la ducha calienta para donde indica agua fría y enfría para donde indica caliente. Nunca hicieron la habitación. Asco asco asco. La puerta tenía una abertura después de cerrarla qué se veía el pastelillo afuera

It’s so dirty very bad place hard to manage even for 1 night feeling like puke

I found a bed bug and a roach while I was there the rooms were beyond dirty and I had to order my own cleaning supplies to get the room somewhat to my comfort I had to get rid of my daughters baby blanket because I found a bed bug on it. When expressed to the front desk staff she said wow that room was supposed to be the good room and automatically changed my room. When asked to speak to a supervisor she gave every excuse on why they could not be reached instead of trying to actually call them Everything literally everything

Do not consider staying at this place. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. I paid, but I couldn’t stay in the room because the conditions were horrible. I went to the front desk and told them I wasn’t going to stay. They said they would give me a refund, but I’m still waiting for it.
