Coming to Shipshewanna, we booked a room at Essenhaus Inn because our usual hotel was totally booked. I cannot begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay in the atrium! From the friendliness to the cleanliness...from the free brunch to the free "afternoon" cookies...we were really impressed. Next trip to Shipshewanna will find us staying at the Essenhaus Inn again!

The room was clean and comfortable with no sign of any wear or tear. The breakfast was delicious and varied. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The checkout was very convenient and simple.

Compared with chain hotels we stayed at during a cross country trip, our room was cleaner, larger, and with more beautiful decor. The breakfast was heartyand the buffet restaurant next door was excellent. All this just minutes from Shipshewana!

Such a lovely facility! We really enjoyed the homey feel of everything. The entire facility was decorated extensively and very much in keeping with the Amish motif. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The continental breakfast was so much more than expected. Just a wonderful experience overall. So much more than we could have even imagined.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms are very roomy. The separate dressing room with an extra sink is nice. We had a balcony which was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the soap which had no scent. I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement, but it was rated very high like it was the last time we stayed there.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and lovely. The grounds were well cared for. They had putt-putt golf, walking trails, and shopping. The best part was how peaceful it was. This is a great place to relax. The food was really amazing. This is a place you will not want to miss!
