Essenhaus was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in.The room we stayed in was very clean, and the staff was very nice and was happy to help if there was an issue. Breakfast was very good, and they had a good selection to choose from. Actually I was sad to leave because I was enjoying it so much. It was so relaxing!

The grounds were beautiful, the Inn was tastefully furnished, the staff was incredible and our room was spacious and comfortable. The Amish restaurant and shops adjacent were delightful.

Pool and hot tub clean. Very clean hotel. Food was just okay at breakfast. It was a little pricey for not being closer to the theater.

Das Essenhaus’s hotel combines quiet Amish Country surroundings with excellent attentive service. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with a roomy bed and very nice bathroom. The landscaping is incredible. Per Amish style, the food at breakfast and the associated main restaurant is classic farm home fare: simple, ample+, and hearty. Note that there is no alcohol or smoking anywhere on the property.
