This Baymont is the closest hotel to Midland airport; actually, it’s the ONLY one near the Midland airport. That must because all the other chains are too cautious to locate here. BECAUSE THERE ARE NO TRAVELER SERVICES HERE. The airport is in the middle of oil drilling services between Midland and Odessa. To find traveler services, you have to go into Midland or Odessa. For example, the nearest McDonald’s along I-20 are seven miles away in Odessa or nine miles away in Midland. BUT YOU CAN’T GET THERE! I-20 is shut down for renovation by the state of Texas. So I drove along the I-20 business loop five miles both east and west from the airport, but there are absolutely no traveler services of any kind along this loop - no restaurants, retail stores, shopping malls, just oil rig services. So I had to drive into the city of Midland to find any place to eat. Also, there is only one fuel station to be found in this area, but you actually can’t find it. You can drive from the I-20 exit from which traffic is diverted all the way to the airport, and you won’t find a fuel station, in case you need to fill up your rental car before returning to the airport. To find this lone fuel station, you have to drive THROUGH the airport and exit the opposite side, into undeveloped Texas rangeland. There you will find the sole fuel station, which has location monopoly pricing. So it seems like this location would be ideal, but it might not be for you.

Staff so kind and friendly! property a little dingy and dated, and i had to pay for an uber as the airport shuttle stops running at 10pm. Still would recommend for proximity to airport and affordability.

They double charged me I paid thru booking and they asked for a card in case of insadentials and charged my card for the stay so double charged be sure to watch for that

Older hotel, close to airport, reasonably priced, not a new property. Breakfast was very good, clean and attended. Not one i’d stay long term in, but met my needs for this situation.

They have shuttle, but only certain hours, so we paid more for a hotel to have shuttle just to not be able to use it.

There was a bad smell coming from the air conditioner in our room and it had mold on it so we asked and were moved to a different room. The hotel needs updating and the pool was not working . The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was very clean.

The tub didn't drain properly and room wasn't all the way cleaned

Nasty it smelled. Like cat pee in both rooms lady at breakfast touched every biscuit with no glove and asked me if I wanted one thay were hard as a rock

I stayed in room 104. The room itself was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean as well. The tub though. I guess it had holes or something and they fixed it with duck tape.. other than that it it was in perfect condition.
