Days Inn by Wyndham Monett

I enjoy staying at this motel. Although this time I don’t think the AC was working very well.

The room was very nice. Bed was comfy and staff was very kind and helpful! Will return 100%

Basically no breakfast Overpriced

Had a strong misty smell. Towels and hand cloths were very thin. Shampoo/ soap was awful

The host/staff were helpful, but they were wrangling a very old and worn-out property. We appreciated their attention, but would never choose to stay in such a place again. The breakfast was pathetic. The facilities were worn out and in need of attention. The surrounding businesses were either closed down or substandard. Monet is worth visiting, at least for the Waldensian History and sense of community pride, but look beyond Days Inn for comfort.

There was roaches and the beds were uncomfortable

Pleasant check in. However, things went downhill from there. Because we used Expedia (saved $20 per night), the owner said “You did not pay enough to receive $15 an hour room service”. So we had to buy our own trash bags, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, take out our own trash daily and were initially charged for additional clean towels. This while being charged additional pet fees. Each day we had new pests (ticks, roaches, and another bug I have yet to identify) to greet us. Breakfast had juices which had expired two months earlier, Walmart yogurt and oatmeal. However, they did allow us to check out late as I had confused the date of our departure. Don’t recommend.

TV didn't work, the refrigerator didn't work, and my husband and I were covered in bug bites after one night.

AC in the room could have been turned on before we got there. It was an oven in there when we first got here. But it cooled off quickly.

This hotel is under appreciated based on some of the reviews. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The mattress appeared to be brand new and was very comfortable. My only wish was for a coffee maker in the room. But coffee was offered in the lobby. I travel to Monett a few times each year and am happy to know there is a nice clean and inexpensive place to stay. I will definitely stay here again.

Room air conditioner was not working properly; they don't replenish toiletries. Breakfast area has one table of four that is very close to a bathroom; so it a little obnoxious. They forget to put new towels so you have to ask them. Not much other options in this town so it is what it is.

Beds not comfortable and mine had a crater in the middle of it. It obviously needed to be thrown away. The amount of huge cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling that had no cover on it. The tv runs Roku ads on the side of the screen every three seconds. (Not exaggerating) the outside of the building needs updated and taken care of so it actually looks like the pictures.

It was a great place to stay

There were shops nearby, however getting in and out of this hotel was less to be desired.
