We had an enjoyable vacation.

Additionally, it was not clear at the time of booking that some first-floor rooms require using stairs. We later found out that there is an option for ground-floor rooms, which would have been more suitable for us. It may be helpful to clarify the room descriptions to make these details more transparent for future guests.

Great service! Especially the wait staff
-
The serving staff was excellent But be careful of additional charges as I had to really review my folio and was refunded an occurrence They need additional chairs for the pool and bar areas The coffee server at the shop was the only server They need two in the morning
-
Lackluster staff service while somehow still being pretentious. There are better places to visit and better places to stay.

BATHROOM WAS BROKEN

Very nice stay. Can’t wait to return!

When I raised the issue with the hotel, I was advised that the room categories had changed this year and that the “water view” rooms no longer necessarily offered a true water view. This should have been clearly reflected in the listing and updated photos. There was also no room service, and takeout from the restaurant was only available on certain days, which was particularly inconvenient while travelling with children. Additionally, we were surprised by extra amenity charges for access to facilities such as the pools and tennis courts. These fees were not clearly disclosed at the time of booking and only became apparent at checkout. Hotel staff reiterated that Expedia was responsible for communicating these charges. While the property is beautiful, the misleading room description, undisclosed fees, and limited dining options were disappointing.
