Awesome location, good parking, and loved the restaurant! The walk from parking lot to hotel is a bit long but not necessarily the hotel’s fault!

Superb

Location and staff were great. Fan in air conditioner rattled.
-
Location and helpful staff Decor of room was very boring. Wallpaper was peeling badly in two places.
-
Location It was a big worn. Dirty, rusted metal entrance to elevator with chipped paint from wear.
-
Lovely hotel very central with parking - nice restaurant on site would recommend Finding the parking took a moment

The location was perfect for our family reunion. We stayed here 10 months ago for a family wedding. We like being in downtown Montpelier where we could walk to stores and restaurants. The staff are outstanding. Very friendly and welcoming, made everything easy for our stay. The carpeting has been replaced since our last stay and the room feels fresher. I liked the magnifying mirror in the bathroom and all the towel hooks and racks, also the light in the closet. Clearly there is an attempt to make this a higher end experience. The air conditioner is loud, and there is street noise, but we did want to be downtown. Elevator is small and slow.

The shower head is clogged, I expect from minerals from hard water. That was room 417. Which is a great room with a lovely view of the mountains, river and a live train track.

Everything! Location, staff, good sized room. N/A

This was a bad ass hotel. Food was gas. Staff was polite. 10 stars if I could give it. I'll be back when I'm back in town for work

Rooms are quiet but not updated. Parking was in a gated lot. Needed to check-in to use key card to get in gate. Elevator is extremely tiny.
-
Convenient to downtown with friendly staff
-
Very nice place to stay. Only there one night but it was very pleasant.
-
Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was tired and needed work. Air conditioning was very noisy. Only 1 elevator worked.

Very good

Bathroom was not clean, towels from previous guest still hanging up.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the Montpelier Capitol Plaza Hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed and spotless. The staff provided good service and were friendly throughout our visit. The attached restaurant was convenient, but the prices were on the high side. My only other very minor complaint was the elevator, which was extremely small and earned the nickname "death closet". Despite those minor drawbacks, I would happily stay here again.

Hotel was great with the exception that the elevator was broken down for most of the stay but the staff was great and helpful with carrying luggage as we were on the fourth floor.

Front desk help was fantastic. Twelve dollar parking fee was an unwelcome surprise. I was also unhappy that the Wi-fi was not really free: Hilton expected me to join their mailing list in order to get connected to the internet. I have never had to jump through any such hoops in any of the mom and pop motels I usually choose--or pay to park in the business's own lot.

Nice place. Great staff. Excellent breakfast. Only bad thing is your bill automatically adds parking charge without them asking if you are using it. Had to have it removed twice. Otherwise, nice place to stay and conviently located.
