Been staying there on and off for the past 4 years, my first choice when in the area. All staff is great all ways make me feel like at home. The manager is super nice and friendly.

The hotel looked new/modern enough. Check in was at 3 for our room with 2 king beds. We showed up at 6 and were told if we could wait while the room was still being cleaned. Ive never had this happen before. We wait, i asked for an update and was ignored. At 730 we still have no update so we left and asked them to call me when the room was ready. I asked for a free upgrade but was ignored. We got some food at and came back at 930pm. Still no room, i thought this had to be some prank. Finally the attendant says “do you have to have 2 king beds?”. We said we would be fine but he still charged us the 2 king bed rate. The breakfast was tastless with few options. I checked out the next day with no staff there. I wanted to talk to a manager but literally couldnt find a single employee and had to continue my trip.

Room and bathroom clean. Bed was comfortable and room was a pleasant sleeping temperature with A/C running. I liked that there were several hooks in the bathroom to hang my cosmetic bag.

It's the high end for Moorpark. The staff was dealing with a packed house due to the wildfires. Great job!

We had issues with ants in the restroom for the first 2 nights. I initially thought it was just one or two ants but by the second night, the restroom was crawling with them. I notified the front desk the following morning and they immediately moved us to another room. Very satisfied with how they handled the situation.

The location. The breakfast items. It wasn’t up to par with other Fairfield Inn locations. Coffee was bland. Not too many choices.
