This Colorado property has ski-in/out access to the Crested Butte Mountain Resort. A large fireplace is located in the lobby and the rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and iPod docking stations. A fully equipped kitchenette with granite counter tops and a microwave is standard for all rooms at the Elevation Hotel & Spa. The rooms have rustic dark wood furniture and access to free Wi-Fi. Guests can store or rent ski equipment at the seasonal shop or relax in the full-service Elevation Spa. The property also offers a fitness center over looking 2 outdoor hot tubs. Dining at the Elevation includes the Jose Crested Butte, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant features homemade desserts and full bar. Located in the Gunnison National Forest the Elevation is within a 5-minute drive of downtown Crested Butte, which offers shopping and dining. The Gunnison/Crested Butte Airport is 31 miles from the property. Jose's Crested Butte is the hotel restaurant and serves Mexican Cuisine. It is still open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (4 PM to 9 PM), and we have a breakfast coffee bar from 7 AM to 11 AM. Restaurant still features a full indoor and outdoor bar. Well equipped facility. We were in the off season and they had a skeletal staff. A few were not very friendly.

The hotel has very nice and spacious rooms and good parking facilities The bar was closed at 9.00 pm which is far too esrly for a luxury hotel like this. Only Grab & Go breakfast with some muffins and cookies. In this kind of hotel you expect a decent breakfast.

The room has ZERO instructions on how to get on the wifi, TV channels, how late the pool is open, how late the only on-site restaurant is open, where other restauurants are located, etc. You are just supposed to figure it out for yourself because the front desk is understaffed and no one answers the phone. They even eliminated the vending machines, so if you want a snack or a juice, you have to pay $9 per drink and go to the front desk or the overpriced restaurant. Price, the doorman, was very helpful, as was the sole person at the front desk. Both of them are wonderful employees who did a great job. Maybe invest some more $ in staffing and a simple welcome book for guests instead of just raking in money.

Great location. We’ve stayed here 3 times now. Definitely could use a facelift. Hoping they will invest in updating it soon.

spacious room Parking here is a nightmare and expensive, room was more dated than i expected it would be. overall felt overpriced for what we got.

The restaurant was disappointing. The decor was cold and dated, and the food was average.

Location and amenities. Given that we were in Crested Butte in a low season, it was great to have restaurants on site. Parking was restrictive, low clearance and too costly.

Location, check in, the restaurant, the Bellman, very helpful, the staff. The tub for a shower was so slippery we would not use it. You need a shower mat available. A parking fee for a captive audience is ridiculous, increase the rate a bit and celebrate free parking!

The hotel is nice and the rooms are decent but everything seemed a little out of date. Rooms need upgraded. The shower head was terrible. The bad part was that after I booked the hotel I received an email stating that Self Parking would be an additional $30 per night and that there was also a $30/night resort fee. So thinking that I was booking a $130/ night hotel was not correct. Also, the "grab and go" breakfast was not included. So 2 latte's, and 2 burrito's with tip was $45.

We were there off-season, during June, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to find food in the hotel, or in the area after 7pm. They actually boasted a full Mexican restaurant, with full menu and bar, which looked really good but was CLOSED the entire time. Supposed to be a free hotel shuttle, but only up until 10pm. We were there for a concert that ended at 11pm and no one could figure out how to get ANYWHERE! No ubers, no cabs, etc. The said they had vending machines, they did not. There were signs for ice and vending, but NONE. They did open the Elevation spa for us, since 7 of us reserved expensive services, so at least we got to do that. Everything else they boast about on their website only occurs during ski season.

Beautiful location. There was no hot water in the shower throughout the entire time we stayed at the hotel.

The hotel was in a good area. The bar was nice. The hotel is very very outdated. Truly needs a renovation! We actually left a day early because the room had a bad smell to it.

This is a tired hotel that charges extra for things that don’t work. There is no AC in the hotel and that made it rather warm over Labor Day. It also is very noisy from hearing what goes on in the hallways to what goes outside the windows.
