Quality Inn & Suites Mount Vernon

No breakfast or pool like website said. Construction work started very early.

They said since we booked through Expedia we have to go through them. Luckily Expedia was able to cancel the reservation for us - thanks Expedia. The Quality Inn looked like a dump. I believe they did us a favor by trying to overcharge us as we found a much nicer facility down the road.

No elevator. Breakfast did not include any hot food.

The room had a definite smell which the front desk was due to pets. However, the smell was stronger in the bathroom where mold/ mildew covered the ceiling. We were told there wasn't another room for us to move to because of renovations. The continental breakfast was sparce if you were over an hour of opening time--convenient store pastries, Walmart yogurt and frozen biscuits. No restocking seemed to be happening. Had to have room keys reprogrammed because couldn't get into room. Never staying there again.

Definitely smoking in a room staff aware burn marks on the tub from leaving cigarettes to burn staff did nothing to rectify the situation.TV didn’t work no Wi-Fi sync backed up with crud. It was disgusting. Told the staff at the desk she couldn’t get the TV working either or do anything about the sink and she could not move rooms no breakfast because they were doing remodeling no pool so I had ice iand a bed. Unable to leave to get my money back because was nonrefundable so I’m hoping that Hotels.com will be assisting me because it was disgusting. there is no other places to go after driving nine hours of his exhausted.

Hotel was clean and beds were comfy. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was not it. Very very very limited options, but the staff did tell me that when I checked in!

Convenience The whole first floor was unavailable, the pool was closed, no elevator and my handicapped wife had to climb stairs. The stairs were filthy. Breakfast was meager at best, and full price was still expected.

The front desk lady was as cool, but slow. Not really her fault, the tech is severely outdated. First off, haven't got our money back for our cancellation. Walked in, the place smelled like mold and mildew. Was informed there was a flood on the bottom floor, so makes sense. Elevator doesn't work, pool is not working yet still filled with sitting water. Outside the poles are infested with bees and wasps. Got our room after 30+ minutes. Walked up to the second floor and it smells more like marijuana than a damn dispensary despite the "no smoking and no marijuana" policy" Don't come here. Seriously, don't. It's awful. Smells AWFUL. It's moldy, not safe AT ALL for ANYONE. If you have children, elderly, or your even yourself; please don't come here. This place should just be shut down entirely. We had to go to another hotel and still haven't received our refund for booking. Avoid at all costs please <3

Convenient, great value, clean, friendly staff! Beds were harder than expected. The coffee maker in the room was dirty.

No breakfast as advertised. Plumbing did not work well. TV remote was not connected.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful. Due to unfortunate events, the whole first floor was shut down.

As you walk in, it is apparent that they are cleaning up from a car running through the back door and broke the water line. However, they opened but only had 2 apple juice bottles and frozen pastries for breakfast when they advertised a full breakfast. Also, it is moldy everywhere and my allergies acted up within 10 minutes in my room.

It smelled clean and fresh. Very convenient and reasonable price. The rooms were very small for two people but since only one person was staying in each room it was fine. The breakfast could have been better. The juice machine didnt work so no orange juice.Not a lot of options.
