Good hotel, nice staff, not very far from the beach

The staff was friendly, shower was hot, had a crib we could use, staff was friendly, good breakfast, convenient location and coffee available all day long. The room was not great. It smelled like mildew and was humid, so much my book pages were literally warping and clothes left out were even damp. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The tub had rust in it. Found hair that was not ours on multiple towels. The door lock didn’t lock after us so the staff had to replace the batteries. After this was fixed, if you lock the door from the inside and turn the handle from the inside, it does unlock so it’s not safe for small children if you don’t use the deadbolt. The bed frame had a piece of metal that I scraped my leg against multiple times and had to put a towel over it so I didn’t injure myself again or the children.

A perfect place to have a wonderful family weekend.
