I wish I had the name of the lady running the check-in/front desk when we checked in (06/19/2026 at approx 9pm). She was the nicest, most helpful person I have dealt with in a very long time. We got in later than we wanted and she went out of her way to make sure we were able to order from their lounge, made calls for us, just was so polite and helpful. The staff at the lounge/bar were also great. The rooms were clean, and the property seems well maintained. I'd absolutely stay here again and every hotel/lodge needs a front desk lady like we had the pleasure of dealing with.

The place is beautiful and quiet! The food at Timbers was a disappointment. I don't mind paying for great food, but the price far exceeded the quality

Lied Lodge is a beautiful property! It is well maintained and very clean. The rooms were smallish but were nice. The beautifully maintained grounds included a farm, a market, a gift shop come and a treehouse ropes course type playground for the kids. There is a beauty dining room and lounge as well.

I have to say i researched this place a lot after I booked it. I couldn’t understand how something so beautiful could be so affordable. We enjoyed every aspect of this place! Take the trail, get in the pool, sit by the fire and have some wine in the library lounge. The fireflies were so beautiful also. This was really a hidden gem and I hope we will make it back one day. Wish I could give them a 100⭐️

Only issue: bartender (on June 13 evening) refused to put CWS baseball on a television, stating she was required to show ‘World Cup Soccer, if a game was being shown’’. I am fairly sure the CWS fans are a much larger percentage of your customers during the baseball tournament.
