The main house and the courtyard are pretty and well maintained.

Beautiful property. The family-style breakfast was lovely. I plan to return.

This was a nice place to stay and within walking distance to many attractions in New Orleans. The place has an interesting vibe, both in a positive way but also in a negative way, sorta. There was road construction at the location of the B&B so that was a bit noisy. The place has an interesting vibe.

Our stay at the Terrell House was wonderful. Michelle and the staff made sure our arrival went smoothly and explained everything we needed to know. You're pretty close to great restaurants and shops (about a half mile - walk or Uber). They recommended Gris Gris and it was great - we ate their twice in 3 days. Finally, the breakfasts were superb. When we come back to New Orleans, we'll stay here again.

The dining area and courtyard were beautiful. There is a gorgeous fountain in the middle of the courtyard. The breakfast was mediocre for a bed and breakfast. there were few choices and it was served buffet style. There were no decaffeinated options for hot drinks. The staff smoked in the courtyard and had dogs there. There was a very small wedding that used the courtyard even though the wedding participants were not staying there. We didn't feel comfortable using it. There was no off street parking as listed in the Bookings filter. The day of the small wedding, our roon=m was not made up. Staff did not return our calls or make up our room or replenish needed items in our room.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great location, and excellent breakfast.

I loved waking up and having breakfast ready for us before we went out in the town. The maid service was awesome! They made sure that we had plenty to drink and had all the bathroom supplies. The B&B was just the a few blocks away from the parade route, so it was easy to walk back and forth. It did suck that our room was up a flight of stairs to get to the room. There was also construction on the road next to place, so it made it difficult to get in and out of the parking.

The staff is very accommodating and hospitable. There was construction all around.

The staff was absolutely lovely! From the moment I was greeted at the door, to the wonderful breakfast, to the quiet, peaceful morning. It was a great place to breath and relax before stepping into the bustle of the city.

We will never come to New Orleans and stay anywhere other than the Terrell House! Everything about the experience was superb - the scrumptious breakfasts, the elegant house and comfortable room. But what makes Terrell House is the staff, always friendly, helpful and "like family."

It is a lovely old home. Delicious breakfast each day. Wonderful experience Everything was just as described

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Terrell house during Mardi Gras in 2025. We stayed for 6 days and 7 nights, so we did a lot of research before we book for a longer stay like this, and we landed on Terrell because of its location, interiors, and included breakfast. All of these aspects exceeded our expectations. For location, we were able to walk 5 minutes to St Charles where the parade is, 15 minutes to a variety of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and vintage shops, and 30 minutes to the heart of French Quarter. In terms of the interiors, everything gave us the authentic NOLA experience while staying on top of our needs - stable hot shower, comfortable beds, table and chair for me to do remote work, and clean. The courtyard was divine to do readings or have breakfast, which was so delicious and thoughtful. Everyone at the premise was so nice and welcoming - ever since my mom mentioned that she prefers drinking boiled water, they made sure that we have hot boiled water everyday. These are the details that will make me recommend this place to everyone i know that is planning to visit NOLA.

More breakfast variety

Quaint, elegant speaks of an era gone by. Our room seemed to have some humidity or at least it smelled that way.
-
The staff were wonderful and the atmosphere warm, welcoming and cozy! Breakfast was delicious and the space allowed for guest to mingle or stay separate if they wanted.
-
Great location and staff nice and attentive but the room was not what was shown on app and beds were actually single-twin sized and uncomfortable and room really small but I love New Orleans so not a bad trip Beds and room size.
