Loved the pool and natural surroundings. Staff was friendly. Our room was very dated and in need of update. Patio door difficult to operate. Television did not work, no signal. Maintenance tried to fix but I don’t think there was a fix to it. Did not like the Murphy bed setup. No headboard to sit up in bed to read, watch tv. No end tables by the bed. We just felt this was a strange setup. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

Just fantastic… we held a retreat her and they were amazing in all areas we could have asked for.

Sunday River is a cozy, friendly place to stay. The staff was helpful and attentive. I had the pool, hot tubs and gym all to myself. The rooms and appliances are dated yet functional. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was pleasant.

It was a great environment surrounded by nature that makes your heart feel clean. Surely, skiing in the winter must be amazing too. The breakfast buffet is the same every day, so I wished there was a bit more variety. I think it would be suitable to use as a conference venue during the off-season. The distance from Boston and the limited transportation options are a drawback.

The resort itself is impressive and offers the classic feel of a ski lodge. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall property appeared well-maintained. While some areas could benefit from modernization, everything was kept in good condition. Check-in was fast and hassle-free. The only downside was the parking situation. Since this is a ski resort, parking is located some distance from the main building. Although there are exits near the parking lot, guests cannot re-enter through those same doors, which made carrying luggage a bit inconvenient. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for guests planning an extended ski vacation.

It was a great stay and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely make the short drive into town to take a look at the Gem & Mineral museum, that was a great activity while it was raining.

Just found it was a bit pricey in the restaurant other than that it was a very nice place to stay wonderful staff.

Bathrooms needs to be updated.

Excellent location adjacent to the slopes. Large, noticeable stain on carpet. Need to be a contortionist to reach toilet paper roll. Round toilet seat with no soft-close mechanism. Early (10:30am) check-out.
