Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown - Langhorne, PA

Room was clean and refreshing. Not being from the area, the staff was very helpful with local go to events and restaurants.

Location Smelled like marijuana every day we was there in the rooms and when we entered the building don’t know if it was staff or someone staying there but we were on the third floor and was horrible and we have 5 children under 7 yrs old and this is not acceptable told the front desk about this and was told they would check into it there’s no way this wasn’t be smoked inside the building also we had 7 in our room and only 5 towels and two office size trash cans for the kitchen with 5 kids this is not sufficient and only cleaned the room one time for our stay. I believe there should be some compensation for the stay especially for the drugs being used in a non smoking building there’s no way this couldn’t be noticed by staff completely unacceptable.

The room was clean and the temperature was easy to control. Blackout curtains helped us sleep. The staff was so helpful and checking in and out was a breeze--under 5 minutes. The pool was closed for renovations, but it wasn't a big deal for us. There is plenty of free parking and the buffet breakfast had a variety of good food.

I don’t like carpets. If a hotel room has carpet, it usually means there will be an odor in the room.

Wife loved it. She often opt out of free breakfast but this was first time she had twice in a row

The kitchen staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel comfortable & welcome!

Like the indoor pool. People too noisy out side in the common area.

The table clothes in the meeting room should have been replaced

The toilet in my room did not work - it did not flush. I addressed this with the front desk and was told nobody was available until the next day to fix it. I was told to "jiggle the chain." Jiggling the chain did not work, I called the front desk to advise as such and there was no answer. I used the bathroom in the lobby and spoke with the front desk again the following morning and was told someone would be in soon. I waited 2 hours and called down again because I wanted to take a shower and did not want the repair person arriving just as I stepped in. I was told "I told him, I'll see if he can come now." Maintenance person arrive at 8:50am. I checked out at 9:30. There was no offer to move my room as they were "full."
