SpringHill Suites Marriott Norfolk Old Dominion University

Not much Despite being told we would get room service every two days, we received nothing by the third day despite calls to the front desk. Called twice for new towels and eventually had to track down a housekeeper to get some. Terrible service.

Very clean, was quiet. Liked how easy it was to check-in, room was larger than expected, complimentary breakfast was great and surprised with the elevated options. Garage was just across the street, a quick walk. Pool was closed, was a little bummed as it was part of why I booked this location. Front desk asked if I was parking with them but did not mention that it was an additional cost, fortunately when I realized it upon check out the new front desk resolved the unexpected charge which I totally appreciated.

It was across the street from the arena where we were going to a concert It was expensive but the convenience of being able to park at the hotel and walk across the street to the concert made it well worth it!

We came down one half hour before breakfast ended. Couples were waiting for coffee at that time. Carafe never got filled all the way so it was emptied before I got to it. I had coffee prior from the room, again, not what I expected. Room was clean and bed comfortable,viwas

Breakfast was great, staff was helpful and very respectful. Room was huge. I love large rooms.

Conveniently located near ODU.

Room was ok, Bed was extremely uncomfortable and small. The halls and area was not great.

Breakfast was perfect I am used to Spring Hill suites having plates, dish detergent, and kitchen supplies, but none were available. Went to desk get salt and pepper.

Breakfast was adequate. Bathroom had dripping shower head and small amount of water seeping/splashing from tub. Price was atrociously gouged for event next door. Should have been illegal for the condition of the room and property.

Location was great. Staff was friendly. Carpet was dirty.

Location across the street from the Barry Manilow Concert at the Chartway Arena. Parking was convenient. Staff told us they had oversold and it took awhile to check into a room even though we had a reservation and paid well in advance.
