Quality Inn & Suites at Coos Bay

Room was great. Breakfast they had nothing but coffee to drink as the machine was broken for our entire stay.

Comfortable beds. Ads show sitting areas in rooms but only suites have any chairs or sofas. Same bad breakfast all 3 mornings. Powder eggs and sausage. Seems like they could mix it up. No water at breakfast, Juice machine out of order, treadmill in gym out of order. Pretty terrible gym.

Each room has both a front and back door. The lady at the desk seemed offended when I questioned this. They do have insite laundry which was helpful. The room was decently clean and the bed was comfortable.

Rooms were good and clean. We had a bigger room than most places. Not sure if that’s a typical room or an upgrade. Outside could have been a little cleaner and our tub ran a little all night.

Great location walking to mall with movie theater and restaurants and shopping. Great breakfast.

Our room was exceptionally large and very clean. Out of the 10 different nights on our roadtrip, this bed was by far the most comfy.

I mean, it’s old. Our room stunk like a musty smell. You couldn’t keep the fan running all night. And we stayed in the building not connected to the main building. Breakfast was bad. Eggs were rubber and sausage was the microwave kind that was overheated. The waffles were fine. The yogurt was full of sugar. Ok breakfast. Front desk gal was really nice. The hotel use to have a hopping fill restaurant/bar at night. The absentee owner needs to take care of this cool hotel. Sad.

The rooms all have a frosted glass window and light from the parking lot, street, and Taco Bell shine through those windows all night long lighting up the entire rooms.

Old property and not call enough for our standards. Floors were sticky and dirty. Short staffed at the front desk.

Big shout-out to front desk employee for quickly remediating the situation. But even the upgraded new room was subpar in cleanliness.

The room was clean here. But the shower nozzle did not release much water. It was a large room and had a small refrigerator. This property was too big for the 2-3 employees that were working there when we stayed.

Clean room and property, Our room smelled bad, however. That is our only complaint, the room was stinky.

The room was not ready at check in time and we were asked to come back in an hour or so. When we returned in 1 3/4 hrs, it still was not ready and the manager BLAMED ME for requesting a 1st floor room (at the time I made the reservation since there was no elevator and at age 81 it is difficult to carry luggage up stairs.) Why were second floor rooms ready when a reservation made 3 weeks earlier was not planned? Short staffing is not an adequate response. The tv guide/info was outdated and did not match the television set. Fan on ac unit very noisy. The toilet seat was loose and slide around during use. Breakfast was ok. It was the staff treatment during check in that was most offensive. I will not recommend or return to this property. They give the Choice brand a bad name.

It was ok. Weird location but was ok for a one night stay

The room was fine, but we are seniors and could have helped having a first floor rooms. Plus we didn’t get any help to take our luggage to the second floor, no elevators in the hotel. It was the worst experience. Breakfast was okay. Will not book again.

Not very clean, staff nice but you waited to talk to someone office not always staffed
