Starlight Motor Inn

A very cute, clean, and swanky place to stay. Enjoyed the live music in the upstairs bar. Staff were attentive and caring. Modern accommodations in the rooms.

This is our third stay at the Starlight and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Less than 15min to CHS airport. Very good value, considering all the amenties.

I love this place! Fourth stay and always a comfortable stay. Can't miss the burgundy lounge ( you got to go up to get down). Brings me back to a time I so enjoyed. Thank you for making this happen.

What a charming vintage motor lodge. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing! The staff were very friendly and they recommended some great local spots. It’s in a cool and authentic part of town, with more locals and fewer tourists. You’ll find the hotel itself to be safe and the grounds are well-lit. Easy parking. Cold AC. The pool area is well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay here again in the future!

We were greeted very nicely when we arrived, and they even have a bar on the property, which was a nice bonus! 🍹 The A/C was SUPER cold, just how we like it! 😂❄️ Everything was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again! ❤️

The Starlight Inn was lovely with so many details to enhance the nostalgic vibe. The beds were so cozy, and the ac was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to help my elderly parents unload their luggage. Our stay was perfect!

The retro aesthetics are so much fun! The coffee bar, bar, and pool are great amenities with planned activities for guest. The staff is super friendly and always available via text. There is free parking and plenty of spaces to gather, chat, or eat. Also, it's pet-friendly! To top it off, the beds are actually comfy. If I had to pick something, which I am stretching here, the back end of the parking lot is a little tight so if you drive an extra-large truck or SUV turning around might be difficult.

Such a cute place. Bring your crush here. Or your family. Everything and everyone is so nice. The whole property and staff and rooms and pool and bar and coffee shop and everything was excellent!

Clean rooms, retro 60s vibe, great AC, hot shower, comfortable king bed, convenient to the parking lot, awesome pool and lounge, and friendly staff!! Great food close by at Kings BBQ, Harlow & Pearl in lobby, and Maya Del Sol next door.

Room was clean. Easy check in process. Security guard up front was very nice and helpful getting in.

We had a great stay. The rooms are fun and wonderfully restored.. the pool and grounds are great. We didn't eat at the restaurant but given the attention to detail everything else gets, I'm sure it's wonderful as well. The Starlight will be our goto stay in Charleston.

Not a bad motel, the destination is convenient to get to. Cheaper than downtown options. Nothing special but was worth it. The AC is too strong.

I love it here. This is my go to when I need a “staycation”. Staff is incredibly accommodating, the rooms are always clean, and parking is free, which is hard to find in the Charleston area.

Great spot! We saw a lot of negativity about the area on social media, but decided to trust the reviews from people who had actually stayed here, and we’re glad we did. Perfect little spot for us!
