Wingate by Wyndham North East

Wyndham has a great policy that their employees have to call customers if things are left behind. I was not aware of this policy. The customer service was great but the hotel would be hard to find without a GPS as there is no visual of the hotel from the road nor did I see any signage near it before entering the parking lot. The breakfast was good, nothing special. The satellite tv went out during a storm but did up coming back on. The people watching was fun (think the people of Walmart). Overall, it was a good one-night stay.

There were several disturbances throughout the night. Specifically, there was a couple having a domestic violence situation from 3am -4am. Someone one the 2nd floor was letting off a siren at 5:30am.

I was surprised at how poor of a condition this hotel was in considering the good reviews. Our room smelled interesting, and then we opened up the sofa bed, and it was terrible. They offered to switch our rooms, but we were next door to family, so we dealt with it. The breakfast was ok. The pool was black, though. That is a health issue. The good part about the hotel was that it was in a quiet, safe location.

It was a pleasant experience. Our only issue was that the pool was under renovation, which we can't hold against them for making improvements.

Good location easy to find. Quite location Parking was a bit tough to find availability other than that everything was fine.

The room was definitely worn out. The shower was pretty rough and you could see visible dips in the mattresses where they were heavily worn out. The pillows were great! The pool was down and it looked like it had been down for a while. Would have been nice to know because we specifically booked for a pool.

Clean & well maintained property, very friendly & helpful staff at this hotel. Definitely will visit again.

Good location for why we were there. Near shopping. Pool was not working. It looked disgusting. Elevator broke twice while we were there. Once while someone was in it.

While the service and personnel were excellent, the outside grounds were well kept. Litter was all over. The trash bins were not serviced until mentioned to the inside staff who emptied the trash cans. Additional outside service is needed. Room was excellent with prices very reasonable. Breakfast was excellent with variety and a clean dining room.

Clean room & lobby

Everything was terrific except the pool was closed for some reason. The snack area was well-stocked and reasonably priced. The breakfast had eggs and a protein each day. There are children's books and games in the lobby. The room was comfortable. We would stay there again.

We have stayed there several times and have always been happy. However, this time, in the morning when my husband and I woke, both of our nightstands were covered in small ants! We did let the staff know and they said it would be addressed.

Air condition sucked would not cool room to desired temperature. After getting back at midnight it was not at temperature
